Nollywood have been improving in the way they deliver movie for viewer and i am very pleased with it, I have never watched a movie like this before in nollywood where i won't be able to picture what is likely to end the movie and this one is a big one which left me on the sit just to find out what might be happening. Let's go into the movie review and the title of the movie which i would be talking about today.

The title of the nollywood movie is "PENANCE" and looking at the name, it is like an atonement for the wrong doings in the past and now let's go deeper in it. The movie was released earlier this year in January and was directed by Awal Abdulfatai Rahmat and i must first say that i love the directing of that movie because it shows touch of professionalism and these has made me fall in love with nollywood more. The involvement of some top artist in the movie also was a factor to draw people closer to watch the movie because they are just too good at what they do.

Two main focus in the movie was the NYSC corper and the man who she deceively said was her role model but was holding grudges against him, It all started when a young NYSC corper was posted for service in a firm who she already have a grudge for and also concluded in her mind to revenge and make him pay for the wrong deeds he has done but right from the beginning i never thought that kind of thing is going to happen, she played her role well and never made anyone suspect her of the plan she was carrying out.

For the detective who i first saw in the scene when the girl was allegedly rape i actually thought he doesn't know his job well not until we went further in the movie and all i saw was strategy. What a masterclass role. Now let's go into the movie what i love and what i dont like in the movie.

What I Love About The Movie

• Just as i have said earlier, i love the fact that the movie was not predictable and it just went till the end of the movie after the arrest which i was able to find out the real deed.
• The detective was smart even when he saw the botton in the office he looked away since there was no concrete evidence
• The lady played her vengeance role well and didn't even make the detective think twice for the arrest.

What I Don't Really Like

• At the middle point in the movie where the lady was shown to cut herself and later in the next scene her hands were okay was not supposed to be so because i imagined how someone's hand heal so quickly.

Conclusion

Overall the movie was awesome and i really commend the effort of those in the movie who made the movie successful and attracting to watch. i would give the movie rating of 7/10 just because of that scene where the cut was not shown again. You can actually check it out, you will surely enjoy it.
