Hive music festival week 150 round 3 - oh happy day (cover)
Hello my Music people it’s good to be back here again after going for almost a week and this time around, I want to welcome everyone who are lovers of music and also great personalities in the community through the new week of the music festival at week 150 which is the third round. Doing this video was a great challenge for me because I was not able to actually figure out what I really wanted to do but during my search online for a perfect song to use for my week entry, I was able to get on the song just titled “Oh happy day”.
The song is actually a very nice song because I never thought I would be able to bounce back on this song after a long while and before I just knew a certain way in which this song is rendered, firstly, it was always been rendered like an hymnal song and also that is the kind of the way it is sang which i knew but when i grew older I knew another way made to render the song but for me I do not want to stress myself so I just had to go with the hynnal way but for the second way, it can be use in style of jazz, funky and all others.
I chose the hymnal style because I know th song is a very one and and it will go well using the piano as the accompany but I won’t just do much in it so I did my usual and set up my piano which was actually nice and great with good voicing which I already mixed and that was when I could comfortably play the piano and sing along since it is a song I know. I hope you all enjoy the style of play and the song, see you again next week.

Hola, amigos melómanos, me alegro de volver aquí después de casi una semana y, en esta ocasión, quiero dar la bienvenida a todos los amantes de la música y a las grandes personalidades de la comunidad a la nueva semana del festival de música, la semana 150, que es la tercera ronda. Hacer este vídeo fue un gran reto para mí porque no conseguía averiguar qué era lo que realmente quería hacer, pero mientras buscaba en Internet la canción perfecta para mi participación semanal, di con una titulada «Oh happy day».
La canción es realmente muy bonita, porque nunca pensé que podría recuperarla después de tanto tiempo y antes solo conocía una forma determinada de interpretarla, en primer lugar, siempre se había interpretado como un himno y también era la forma en que se cantaba, pero cuando crecí descubrí otra forma de interpretar la canción. Sin embargo, no quería estresarme, así que decidí seguir con la forma del himno, pero la segunda forma se puede utilizar en estilos como el jazz, el funk y otros.
Elegí el estilo de himno porque sé que la canción es muy especial y que quedará bien con el piano como acompañamiento, pero no voy a hacer mucho más, así que hice lo de siempre y preparé mi piano, que en realidad era muy bueno y tenía un buen sonido, que ya había mezclado, y así pude tocar el piano y cantar cómodamente, ya que es una canción que conozco. Espero que disfrutéis del estilo de interpretación y de la canción. Nos vemos la semana que viene.
