Contextual Wisdom: Understanding When Advice Applies and When It Doesn’t

Have you ever been in a situation whereby two words will just be like the right thing in your own perspective and if one is not so sure of that, he or she will definitely be led in the way that does not suit it. Why am i talking about this today, it is because of the recent life happening which i now see that most people are taking these things for each other and making them believe that all what they know is actually right to them.

So there is this saying that anything you find yourself doing, do it well and anywhere you are always try to make good impact so incase if you leave there they will surely know that you have an impact in that place, now another angle of this saying is that do not do too much in a place because you can actually be replaced, now the second statement is making a lot of people misinterpret all, there was an issue between i and my guy this past week and it was because of the a case of him inviting me to come play for a program for him
which he believe i will surely be around and also that same day which he proposed is the final rehearsal for anniversary of the church which i am currently the MD of that church.

So i told him i wont be available for his program which he already had the mind that i will surely be there and he was pained that i wont come and i told him i will need to be at the rehearsal because i am currently the MD of that church
but he made that common statement which i said earlier that don't do too much i a place because you can be replaced and i also replied with the statement let people know your impact so far you are still in a place and for me i have the believe that if i don't go for the rehearsal and the anniversary day, they don't do up to expectation people will surely ask of the MD and say something also if they do well it will be same thing so my believe is that so far i am still there and i could make my impact known, then i do not see it as show off but just doing what i know how to do best.

So there are times to know when to use that word of don't do too much in a place and using it with doing your work diligently so for me many have misused the word and made them limit what they can do well just because they think they are doing too much. And once that thought is not there again i know a lot of people will surely do what they have in mind on their best way. So for me if i didn't stand on what i feel i knew before, i will be easily diverted with those words my friend was saying that day but knowledge overthrow it.
