My participation in the Phone Photography Contest! - #85: Work Day Talk About Diabetes Mellitus (Ing/Esp)
(Edited)

Today is Diabetes Mellitus Awareness Day, so we held a talk to raise awareness about this disease that can affect adults and children. This disease does not discriminate based on age or gender. It is quite serious, and we are all susceptible to it, so we must be careful, especially if there is a family history of the disease, as it is hereditary. Even if the mother is pregnant and does not have the disease, the baby may be born with it, or it may develop over time, either during adolescence or adulthood.

We hold these talks or educational sessions with the aim of providing people with more knowledge on different topics. in this case, we wanted to help by explaining the symptoms so that it is easier to detect and seek medical attention in time, since in some people this disease is silent and by the time you realize you are affected, there is no turning back. Our bodies can live with this disease, but we must learn to take care of ourselves and lead a healthier life.
