I thought it is only over here that we get charged for transactions. Every day you get charged for every transaction you make and the amount depends on the type of bank you are sending it to. Every bank has different rate attached to it.

You also pay #50 as federal government stamp duty each day for transfering or withdrawing money as if the government made the money with you. I'm not even talking about the SMS charges and quarterly charges for ATM maintenance. They might look little each day but at the end of each month, you realise they are much.
