Landscape Painting - Digital Art

Delving into painting today to try something new. I decided to make a landscape piece of a typical sunset scene.

The sun was gradually going down though still heavy.
Trees can be seen below the horizon with darkness virtually covering majority of its parts. that looks like a hill while one is quite close with only the leaves recognizable.

Birds can be seen flying to the right side as they head towards their destination cause night is fast approaching. The sky is gradually getting moody and in no distance time, night will take over.

This piece was done with AutoDesk sketchbook application and aided with an S-pen. My steps can be seen below:
