Drawing A Lion - Roar

Hello Hivers!

Here is my latest digital art work. It's a scribble drawing of a lion, widely believed to be the king of the jungle. When they show up in their clan, other creatures give way.

You can feel the energy and fierce look in him as he raises it's head up and roars to show its presence and scare away other animal.

It was interesting exploring those furs surrounding its head.

The drawing was done with AutoDesk sketchbook application and aided with an S-pen. Below are my steps:

That's a glorious, mighty roar! Are lions around, where you live?
The most dangerous animal where I live is drunken driver :)

Oh yeah, it's a powerful roar.
Nop, there's no Lion close to where I live unless I visit the national park.

I haven't heard of an animal called drunken driver. I guess that should be its nickname😊

Wow! This is very beautiful! I love the form and way you create art. I've heard of AutoDesk sketchbook, but you can also create this kind of art with paper and pen, right? Just curious, all ways are beautiful! :) Nice post!

Thank you dear.
Yeah, one can create this type of art using a cardboard paper and a black pen/ink but I prefer using blue pen.
For digital works, I love drawing with black ink using my Stylus pen. It works just like a real pen.

Wow, cool! I don't have very much cardboard paper, besides on the back of my school notebooks, I used to draw on them so much during class. 😂

The effect with digital art is cool too, thanks! In both ways, they still look really nice. Good day.

The king of the jungle is a lion. Whose roar are important for all animals, But you have made a very beautiful lion's roar in the art, in which the shine of the teeth is different. Thanks 🙏

I enjoy the almost circular patterned detail in and around the face. Nice work!

Thank you. If I had shared a timelapse of it, you would have enjoyed it more. I am looking forward to creating a colored versionof it. Hopefully, I will record the timelapse processes and share as well.
