Discovery of three unique fungi inhabiting oil palm plantations
Now it's the rainy season in my area, knowing this makes me very happy because when the rainy season arrives, farmers will flock to their rice fields to plant rice. Rain is also a great opportunity for me to find unique mushrooms in my area, even during the rainy season I don't need to go far into the forest just to look for mushrooms, rain is a blessing, and on this occasion I will share three types of mushrooms that I have managed to find in oil palm plantations.
But before that, this is my contribution to #FungiFriday curated by @ewkaw
One serious obstacle I encounter when foraging for mushrooms during the rainy season is the abundance of mosquitoes, even in the morning, one way I reduce the number of mosquitoes is by carrying mosquito repellent. I often forage for mushrooms in oil palm plantations these days because I can easily find many types of mushrooms there, even some I've never seen before.
Under a pile of palm leaves, I managed to find my first mushroom, but what was even more interesting was that this mushroom was growing directly on the ground.
I myself do not know the type of this mushroom, but what is certain is that this mushroom grows directly on the ground, if you look at its shape, this mushroom looks very unique, and this mushroom has a size that is not too big but not too small, what makes this mushroom look so elegant is its color. This mushroom has a fairly hard texture but is not easy to break.
And this is the second mushroom that I have managed to find, this mushroom looks very beautiful from its shape to its color, if seen from a close distance this mushroom looks very similar to an orange slice, the color is also very striking especially if we see it under the hot sunlight. This mushroom will probably be easy to find during the rainy season, and will be very difficult to find during the dry season, so the rainy season is a great opportunity for me to look for as many mushrooms as possible.
And this is the last mushroom that I found, this mushroom is one of the mushrooms that I often find in oil palm plantations, this mushroom usually grows on rotting oil palm fronds and will grow very quickly during the rainy season.
And here are three types of mushrooms I managed to find in a palm oil plantation,i'm very happy to have managed to find these three unique types of mushrooms, and I would be even happier if all my friends enjoyed and entertained by the mushrooms I shared. I'll be ending this post soon, so if you have any questions, please leave them in the comments section below.
See you again next time 🙏🏻

It's true, mosquitoes can be a nuisance during the rainy season; you should use mosquito repellent.
