From the onset, some of the Cultivated crops did not grow well at all due to the fact that the rainfall change it pattern naturally. When it was supposed to rain because of few hours changed and it was more or less a normal day with every sunshine. This persisted for a very long time keeping farmers waiting all day long but as nature we have it at the moment we are having rainfall almost everyday. Not just almost everyday alone but few hours of the day. We must record the every rainfall. These and so many other factors you need to take into consideration when planning your own farm. You need to know for how long do rain fall naturally. How many hours do sunshine.
When you have a very good knowledge of your environment then you can proceed to securing a small portion of the agricultural formula which will give you a very easy access to different types of crop to be planted. For a start you can begin with different types of crop production so that you able to tell at a glance how the crops are surviving. It will also make you to get yourself prepared ahead of time to navigate through different crop production.
Crop production is one of the easiest aspect of honey if you are familiar and friendly with the techniques to follow. So many people always complain in my discord channel how they fail several times practicing agriculture. Yes when we fail we must always rise up again. When we keep on getting up then that will be a lot of lessons to learn then you keep to it again. That is how to grow.
- When the rainfall pattern change it will affect a whole lot of cops even before you cultivate them because what if you already know have been tampered with. So the nature has to take place.
There is always a need to understand how crop production works. Sometimes it may change the whole farm settings. Making it more difficult or more simple to cultivate different types of crops.
Either you plant millet or cassava cassava or Maize, it will always come out in green and in flying color. So when the rainfall is much you can absolutely cultivate millet or Guinea corn. It will surely survive and bring out good seed and good Produce.
The rate at which some of the Farmers produce are out at the moment will make you to even be convinced that it is good to practice agriculture from the scratch. And also learn more gradually.

Crop production or transplanting of crops is easy for farmers that understand it very well. Rainfall can change the growth of crops when it changes it pattern. Lack of rainfall or accessive rainfall affects crops
Farmers can actually understand how it works but on the bases of the true color of the agricultural Farmland.
Your point about noting daily rain hours before choosing crops hit me. Switching to millet or Guinea corn when it gets really wet is smart risk control, the records is gold for planning costs and inputs :) As an accountant, I see it like a cashbook for the field, small entries today avoid big losses later, definately. You' also remind me that failing then adjusting is part of the budget too, only this one grows from the soil.

Yes. Agriculture involves continuous exercise and aiming at it. Whenever we go into the farm,it for the best production.
