The rainy season is always one of the best season for Farmers and animals in which case so many animals survive more and comes out in mass in the raining season. One of those animal is snails 🐌🐌. If you are very familiar with snails you will know that during the rainy season they are much. Not just much by words but physically. They always work more at night making snail catching to be more flexible at night. The night will always bring forth more of them. I am talking from experience. Whenever I want to hunt for snails mostly it is by night time.

I have done this so many times with practical experiment and it was awesome or though too stressful and tedious. Why I said this is because I spent so many hours before I could even see them on the already cut unwanted plants. I always search for already cut bushes around during the day before approaching them at night. That is the trick about it. What really works for me may not work for others but that is what I always do.

By night are initiate my snail hunting. And I do this for more than 2 to 3 hours. After that I bring them together and keep them safe. Here are some pictures of the snails that I already captured from my snail hunting.

• Snail hunting is very much good for those that can withstand the stress. It is highly stressful. But when you do this two times in a week, you will absolutely notice a very good changes in your snail hunting. I captured more and more at night.

Snails also feed on different types of leaves and they also survive better. This is why when you capture the snails you must feed them with different leaves, green vegetables and more even fruits to know what they can actually survive on.

You can see that the already cut leaves are being eaten up gradually till it is consume finally. So snail food consumption is slow and steady. This is also why you need to observe the continuously. When you observe that did not eat a certain green leaves you need to pack the leaves and eradicate it with the aim of replacing it with new Fresh ones of another species.

DO SNAIL DRINK WATER?

• This is one of the question that was been asked sometimes ago by also a farmer who is new into snail farming system. With a lot of discussion and practical application, what he saw really amazed him, when few hours they already called freshwater was finally drained by the snails. That was when he finally agreed that snails drink water even.

For all living thing they drink water to survive. Likewise animals of different breed. Any animal that does not drink water cannot survive 24 hours or more. So it is likely for animals that don't physically drink water already stored them in them for this just like in the case of camel. Camel always store water in them for so many days before the embark on their journey in the desert or anywhere.

You must always provide a very conducive environment for your animals so that they can grow within a short range. when it is been done properly you absolutely enjoy the season as it goes.

• Approaching the spinach green vegetables. the snails always consume spinach of different species. with the practical experiment and more it shows the consume it a lot. With fruits.

The African spinach is very soft and it can be easily the digested by smaller animals that is why even tiny Animals feed on them constantly. Within few days they already eating up a whole bunch of spinach Farm. This is the power of animals.

I always fetch this peanuts and feed it to the snails every morning. So after a while in the evening I also feed fruit. But not always. So that they will not end up having diarrhea. All animals can have diarrhea so you need to limit the sugary aspect of it.

The better aspect of snail is that they always go in hibernation. This hibernation also helps them to keep fit for a very long period Of time. It may takes a period of 2 months or more , depending on the weather. That is why most snails survive learning the dry season. They go on hibernation for months without food.
