From the first moment I began to notice that I can actually go into snail 🐌🐚🐌 farming was when before my late dad died some years ago I was able to visit a snail Farm with him and eventually I was also exposed to so many ways by which you can catch snails aside buying it in the market. For those that actually want to go into snail 🐌🐚🐌 farming you can go into the market to source for it. Whats you only need is to ensure a very good breed so that later on when the production stage set in it will be a very good continuous production system and management. For a very good snake farmer you need to verify the type of breed you have in your farm or you want to source for. There are some snail breed that are only meant for consumption alone we areas there are some that are in this advantage of both consumption and for breeding continuously. You also need to ask a lot of question when its in this type of animal breeding or animal production.

Agricultural mindset is all about given the best in terms of all kinds of animal breeding and production which will bring a lot of advantage into the community and also bring related questions even on discord channel. You are also free to bring up your own topic so that it can be trash out with a lot of discussions if you have. Setting into snail farming can also be a difficult type of animal production because of first timer. Yes novice can actually go into any type of animal production but you need to relax your muscles, ask questions and also check out for updated articles so that you can be relevant in what you are doing.

Asking a lot of questions is also in two ways. When you ask some people some certain set of questions they might not be able to explain even with pictures and videos. But on the other hand asking of questions from other set of people, they may not even give you 1% audience at all. But on the other hand again you asked some people some certain set of questions and they will be able to analyze a lot of things for you with really relevant examples and pictures and videos which will make your question to be more amazing and more interesting to you. Which will also make you to learn more about so many ways by which you can give the best to agriculture and more what happened.

  keeping is very lucrative but you need to be conscious of your immediate environment so that you will not run into loss. Every agricultural set of animals has its advantage and own disadvantage as well so you need to double check on them before you jump into it.

You can always see more of snails where there is a lot of bush. This is what I mean.. just like in west African Nigeria we have a lot of abundance of bush I mean take Forest. If you are opportuned you can actually source for your snails in the woods. It is always in abundance.

If you are also privilege you can actually visit your neighboring state just like in the case of when I visited ondo State Nigeria I was privileged to see a lot of snails but because I planned to spend more days I couldn't pick them up instantly or plan on it for snail 🐌🐚 keeping. They may die off before I finish my program.

• The privilege I have here is because even when it's rain I see them in abundance as well. So what I'm saying in essence is that you need to be aware of your immediate environment at first before you act on which of the animals you are keeping. You can see that I actually pick them from the bush which is always a common type of snail picking.

This was when I started gathering up the snails one after the other from the bush around the farm. The first thing I observe was that there was a lot of leaves eating up by snails then I took it upon myself that I must say to what actually come to feed on the Leaves. Then I saw some snails one after the other which also gave me a lot of motivation afterwards.

If you are very observant in your own compound, you can absolutely see this kind of animal which is called snail. So many people are very unfamiliar with keeping of animals, so they do not have much interest in keeping of the snails. But I can assure you that it pays a lot or do it also takes a lot of time.

• While you are picking them up one after the other day always ranges from size to size. Take for distance when you move from one particular region to another. What you will see we always surprise you. When you move from the Western part of Nigeria to the Southern part. It may not be as easy as this even when you have a very thick forest. And its also a vice versa.

Sometimes you can be privileged to even work along a normal walkway and you start seeing them one by one. It is when you notice you actually have it in mind. You may be passing a particular walkway and you might not notice anything around your environment. Yet there are a lot of things happening around you.

When you see them in colony sometimes it is possible. This colony I mean you will see them in Pairs. They move around the bush in two.

• This are mainly the Africans giant snails because they are much and they are in abundance here in west African Nigeria and that is why you see a lot of black dark snails even in the market. They always lay eggs in hundreds. And that is why most people prefer this breeds to another one. Although if your own environment or country you do not have this you may go for the preferred snail breed. And that is why I said you need to do a lot of research.

I don't really know why some people actually did not like snail maybe because of the nature of how the crawl or move. That is why animal production is very relevant and very useful to individual people. You can absolutely train yourself to be what you want in a positive way so that it will affect other people positively as well. Picking up the snails will not attract any negative effects on human at all.

• Sometimes during the rainfall or after the rainfall you might pick a lot more. Although you need to set your time and be on point in the sense that after a very heavy rainfall you need to keep the time. Just like in my own case I actually go into the bush to source for the snail leads at night and also very early in the morning when other people are still sleeping. I always bring about around the bush a solar lamp.
