This is one of the water filled green vegetables we have here in West Africa Nigeria. This is a very good source of vitamin from its natural source. You can prepare it as fresh as it is so that it will be more natural and pure.

The fact that farmers produces different types of crops makes it more easier nowadays. I need to put so many discussions here so that it will be more open and free. The waterleaf as the name implies gives a lot of water even when you do not add a drop of water into the meal of preparation. The water will surely come out even in the maximum rate and ratio. That is our nature works and it is great that way.

At the moment we have the waterleaf green vegetable in other nursery bed section as well. Although they are just coming up from the germination state. So I also recommend this type of green vegetables for farmers who are willingly to sacrifice their time and so on. I also practice mixed cropping with this method. The water Leaf spread a lot. This is one of the advantages of this great green vegetable. I took some pictures of the water leaf when I went to the section with a very good motive to inspire people and also to bring in more farmers into the community.

• I always try my best to reduce the harvesting of the leaves because sometimes when you harvest the green vegetable leaves in a very large quantity it may put the garden or the nursery bed into exile. Meaning that you can absolutely destroy it finally.

When I started the waterleaf planting or cropping it was very bad when I took the records because even the germination was poor. But as Time goes On I keep on putting on more efforts.

I will also tell you that, when you are privileged to plant just few stands of the water leaf green vegetables it will multiply in just few weeks because of the seeds. The seeds always disperse almost days. When you notice that they seed get dried off and you leave it for a couple of days it will absolutely get unto the ground and start a new life. That is how it multiply within a short range and you'll become waterLeaf farmer majorly.

• I decided to harvest the seed as well so that I'll be able to keep the seed and make them safe for the next planting season. It's absolutely nice when you have the seed because it is very scarce and sometimes some farmers go to a very good extent to look for it. Some actually book ahead of time to see this particular specie of green vegetable.

• When you cut the LEAVES in terms of food preparation. it is done in two ways. You can absolutely cut it tiny when you had melon to it. Making it egusi soup. It is a great and delicious meal. I love it when you add melon because it will be more solid. When it is more solid you'll be able to pick them with any kind of meal.

I recommend that you try as much as possible to start your farming in a small quantity then you graduate further. When you do this you will be able to advance in record keeping and also to give a very good account for every Farm activity you do.
