A Venomous Insect With Cycle Incompleted 🐝🦋 Slighted On The MAIZE 🌽🌽 Farm . Grublike Animal Skin. What Could This Be?
Hello Hivers 💕💘,
When you see a lot of animals, different types of insects with all kinds of creatures, it is much during the rainy season and that is why even the insects that you are not used to, you will always see them more during the raining season. It is of different types and me as an individual farmer I already know some kind of animal types and also insect types from the egg stage to the adult stage. But on this one I have never seen this before and that is why my little kid quickly called my attention to it when it was moving from one Farm location to another.
Initially I thought it was the butterfly family but when I showed one of my farmer colleague next to my Farm, he said it is a very dangerous insect. Although he did not know the name originally. Is why we always learn together in agriculture you can never understand or have the wide of it to the fullest. But when you share your knowledge pictures ideas then it will make a lot of good informative knowledge. I took some pictures when it was fast running ahead from the soil surface to the Maize Farm.
- This was when it was making a head move into the soil surface within the short while. It has covered a long distance. All I know is that is a particular insect.
The way it looks, it should a metamorphosis cycle of a butterfly. But when the movement is more faster than what I think of then I'm in a doubt mind.
- I also know that this particular animal feed on green leaves such that, the traces of the feeding also showed on the cultivated crops like maize. There are some particular insect that feed on the Maize leaves mainly.
When I touched it quickly fund a circular shape. It's quick to response in touch. So for anybody that knows this type of insect or animal so please comment the name, or the specie, or the type of incense into the comment section box. I would like to know more about it.
I would have loved to touch it and put it in my palm, but it's also produces juice or fluid immediately something touches it. I made an advances three or five times to carry it up. But because of the fluid that comes out of it instant I forgo it.

At first sight I thought that was a butterfly undergoing metamorphosis. I have seen something like that on my orang plant before. It had the same horn on the tail.
The insect gets it's colour from consuming green leafs which happens to be it's major food.
If you haven't killed it yet, I would suggest you keep it and see what it turns into in few days time.
However, I also think you will need to spray your farm with pesticide because there could be more of that in egg form waiting to hatch and capable of causing major damage to your crops.
Bountiful yield is a farmer's pride
Thank you so much. Absolutely. I left it already because it was also scary the way it moves. I have also seen many changes of insects and more. But this no. I intended in going into some farm clearing up soonest.
