Opposite Reality
Greetings to all my amible and fellow Learners. Hope we are are having a pleasant evening. For this prompt, hmmmm. Since today is Tuesday, it means I will be writing about how my Sunday and Monday went. Beginning with Sunday, the day dawned with a calm embrace of nature and its wonders. The weather gave a false sign of rain, almost tempting me to return to bed. However, I forced myself up and prepared for church.
After bathing and having breakfast, I headed to Mass. It was a pleasant experience, fellowshiping in the house of the Lord in good health and a sound mind. Upon returning home, I prepared jollof rice for the family, and then the full relaxation began.
I don't like stressing my brain on Sundays; I usually allocate Sundays for rest and fun. After lunch, I located my phone and found some movies from Maverick studio on YouTube to keep myself engaged.
I settled onto my bed, ready to immerse myself in cinematic universes. As I started the movie, a sense of excitement washed over me. For two hours, I was engrossed in the narrative, despite not being a big fan of movies. I even found myself watching a second movie, losing track of time until I woke up feeling refreshed and peaceful.
After I got exhausted watching movies as I started having the feeling the last I seeing wasn't interesting enough, I turned to TikTok, scrolling through endless videos. Despite the enjoyable moments, I felt the day wasn't complete without a sense of accomplishment. This Sunday was different as I felt so eager to pen down my imagination into something, prompting me to craft a post. After writing, editing, and making the post, I felt a sense of accomplishment. To run off the day, I turned on my music box and connected it with my phone to listen to my favorites songs.
Moving on to Monday, I carried forward the energy from the previous day. The difference was that Sunday was mostly leisure while Monday was for work. I began the day with a renewed sense of purpose. Doing what we were passionate about allows us to smile daily. It was a fulfilling day filled with learning and relearning alongside my pupils. We revisited many topics from the beginning of the term as revision started this week.
Overall, both Sunday and Monday had their unique highlights, from relaxation and fun to productivity and growth. Each day brought its own sense of satisfaction and accomplishment for me and at the end, it leaves me looking forward to the days ahead with renewed energy and enthusiasm.
Today started so different from the two previous days, with a very heavy down pour of rain last night, I woke up very late today. Feeling lazy and weak to use the convenient room. I wanted more sleep but I couldn't. That feeling was only for a short while as I felt vibrant and energetic after I had my shower. Just like what we did yesterday, the revision exercise began as usual, the pupils were opened to learning and spelling new words and old ones as some of them had forgotten.

Lucky you dear, I don't know if I'm chasing life or vice versa. I enjoy watching movies but these days, I'm either resting or attending to some needs. I can watch a movie for a week without completing it.
Perhaps the relaxation feelings of the weekend makes Monday seem hectic
Even though I have some other things to get myself busy with on weekends but you see Sundays, I love getting full time fun with it. It helps me get my mind off how hectic Monday can be.
While chasing life, is always good to get ourselves engaged in what makes us filling happy and refreshed once in a while.
Tictok is something i use to quarrel with my friends about. Indont know why, but i find myself hating that apl
Hahahaha. Please allow them visit the app but it shouldn't be in an addictive manner anyways. Personally I visit there either when I want to uplift my spirit or I want to get myself out of moodiness. For me is just once in a blue moon.
It's been a while i settled down to see some movies. It's good you found that time to go through different movies in one day and even travel down to tik too.
Your day was an entertaining one I would say. 😊
Yeah, it was and I enjoyed that feeling once in a while.
Of course you should! Well-done
Taking a day out of the days of the week to relax isn't bad at all. Watching movies helps to refresh the body. I also does that once in awhile too.
I'm happy you got to spend more time in doing what makes you happy by exploring new movies and you also enjoy every moment spent on doing that.
It was a great one for you I must say😊.
