How I Made My Leave Cloth
This year is one of my best years. For my birthday celebration, I decided to create a leaf cloth. I must say this exercise was a fun one for me from the start to the finish. You know why I like it?
It comes with uniqueness, which is why everyone wears ready-made clothes for birthday shots. My style and creativity made me stand out, coupled with it being what I wanted.
Below are the materials I used in crafting out this beautiful cloth:
+Fresh leaves
needle and thread
+Razor
+Old Cloth
The first step was cutting the leaves. I chose the leaf because of its thickness. It was washed and allowed to dry.
Since it was for my photoshoot, I went for just a simple design. One of my old dresses was my base structure. I attached the leaves to the cloth and stitched them. They were carefully arranged for seamless results. I prefer doing this on a cloth because it makes it easier for me to wear.
After which I tried it on and made the necessary adjustments. It is recommendable to use glue or pins if the leaves are not durable or needle and thread is not giving out that seamless result.
This cloth was paired with skirts. When I started, I knew the kind of discouraging compliments I got, but the after result was wow, and it brought out my birthday vibes.
