The weather began to change and the sky looked darker like an ebony, causing the trees in the big apartment to sway in directions causing the leaves to fall off. In the big compound, the little kids took the rare opportunity to play joyfully as they awaited the heavy downpour of the rain.

While the wait was still singing and playing, the rain rewarded their anticipation and patience.

"My mum told me not to play in acidic rain. You have to get off from that rain." Ella said, trying to stop Bella from playing in the rain.

"Acidic you said? How humorous that sounds. My teacher told me acids peel off one's skin. If this is truly as you claimed, then I wouldn't have been standing here smiling as I'm still doing."

"Others are enjoying the free gift of nature, why not join us," Nuella, the bravest one joined Ella in the rain which made the others laugh and clap.

"See, the leaves are floating to one direction, let's help them all go the same direction," Bella picked one left and three inside the flowing water and watched joyfully as it sailed.

The rest joined Bella and they spent time playing with the leaves in different corners of the house. They smiled as watched the leaves moving to one direction creating a memory they will grow up to remember.

As the rain subsided and the kids departed to their different apartments, the brick tiled floor stacked the leaves on one side of the company leaving the cleaner with some work to do.
