My Sunday Was Made with a Simple Fried Potato and Pepper Sauce
Hi, hi beautiful people, happy blessed Sunday everyone. Today feels like one of those Sundays when doing anything is a big workload. I was literally working like a wheelbarrow filled with logs.
I woke up around 5:00 AM, prepared for Mass. After the Mass, a wonderful moment with the Lord, returning home was tiring because hunger had already dealt with me, and my energy level was already low.
I sluggishly walked into the market and spotted potatoes; the Northerners refer to them as "dankalin" I concluded that it would be the simplest and most comfortable meal to have for the afternoon. I bought it and went back home.
I wasn't looking for anything flashy or fancy; I was just interested in something that would just fill my stomach and make me feel better, and fried potatoes with pepper sauce did a perfect job.
STEP BY STEP ON HOW I MADE THE POTATOES
I peeled the potato skins properly and sliced them to my desired shape. I seasoned the potatoes with salt and shook them carefully.
Next, I put my frying pan on the fire with groundnut oil, waiting for the oil to heat up.
Then I started adding the potatoes into the hot oil, turning them occasionally until I got well-fried potato chips.
After I was done with the potatoes, I moved on to making the pepper sauce.
How I MADE THE PEPPER SAUCE:
I used Shambo pepper and a little bell pepper. I chopped them all together.
With the remaining oil in the pan, I poured in the pepper mixture and stirred occasionally.
For flavor, I added a seasoning cube and salt. I left it on low heat for 2 minutes and took it down when I got my desired result.
Then I put the quantity I needed on a plate with the pepper sauce by the side.
Without wasting time, I started enjoying my crispy potatoes with the sauce. This simple meal revived my energy to full in just 15 minutes.
