Hello hive

Greetings dear friends and diyhub community How are you all doing today happy new week to you all I pray this week is blessed for you all in Jesus name.
Today I will love to share this beautiful kimono gown I made for my client made with Aso oke and I also made the braided head tie.
Material used
2 and half trouser yards of black crepe
1 strand of Aso oke
Thread
Cutting step

This gown is so easy to cut firstly I folded the material into four then I measure the full length of the gown to be 60” then I measured the shoulder to sleeve length cut together with sleeves 22” then the round arm is 12” after that I cut out the waistline and the hips measurement .
After cutting the front piece I place I cut the neckline then the back neckline is a bit wider than the front V neckline and it came out beautiful.

After cutting the neckline I cut out the facings to turn the neckline then I iron it and I cut the aso Oke pocket and the band for the sleeve .

Sewing step

I joined the pocket iron it then I gum the neckline with hemming gum to hold it down then I iron the whole dress and came out beautiful and elegant on her and she was so happy when wore it 💕🥰😘.
