My Perceptions About Equal Wages
In our world today, a lot of people are pursuing a higher degree in education in other to get a job with good pay, nowadays, women are also striving to get good pay In their place of work, I have come across a lot of people who decided to further their education in other to get a promotion at their working place, because it's has become a normal norm that the higher your position the higher the wages. I don't see anything bad about it, although, it might create unhealthy competition among workers.
The belief of associating good pay with a higher degree has made some people forget about having a good experience in the particular job they want to do. Some companies don't care about degrees but what you know, i.e. your experience, in this case, Someone with a BSc might be earning more than a Master's Degree holder. Some companies can even offer a healthy salary without a degree, but for some companies, it's the other way around. And that's how the universe works, We don't have to expect everything to be the same, the way things work for individuals differs.
My perceptions about equal wages
In our societies, some people are higher and these people are more likely to benefit than the lower people, regardless of their education level, we have seen it as a normal thing in our society, just like a popular saying, " All fingers are not equal" and we can also see a good example of it in "Animal Kingdom" It's a good story that depicts unevenness with a considerable reason. In a well-standard organization, that has a hierarchy, everyone can't receive equal payment, The people in the high hierarchy will earn more than the people in a low hierarchy.
For example, if I'm Working in a place, and I have a junior colleague, I will not speak well I'm earning the same amount as my junior colleague, I might not feel the urge to do more since we are earning the same amount, and the position I am will seem meaningless to me and this might also affect the growth of the company because the workers will not put much effort in what they are doing, Since everyone is earning equal pay. In. case where everyone is not getting equal payment, they'll be struggling to work hard in other to get a promotion. Everyone will try as much as possible to be better each day.
What about equal payment based on gender?
I don't support inequality in wages payment based on gender, Some men have higher pay than women irrespective of their position, In my perception, I believe that everyone has the right to equal payment since they are on the same level, however, in this era, the case is not rampant like the way it was before. So if happen to be an employer, I will make sure that wages are given to everyone accordingly, irrespective of their gender, and payment is made based on individual hierarchy.

You're welcome.🙋
Thanks for sharing real life! Equal pay is complex because it involves many variables. Study time, gender and the complexity of the job.
Of course it's complex, there are lots to say about equal payment, there are certain things to consider when it comes to payment just like you listed here. thanks for your contribution and I appreciate you for stopping by.
You have a valid point, it's impossible in the modern world for everyone to earn an equal wages, it won't even create room for an effective chain of command because we all receive equal wage, what a the essence
When payment are equal, things will not go well, People that are in higher hierarchy are ought to take more and this will give them the motivation to carry out their work effectively, while they oversee the people at the low level.
I appreciate your contribution.
If I am an MD of a company, I won't even nurse the idea of equal pay. I will end of having lazy staffs
Lol
lol, that's nothing but the truth, because everyone will not see the need to work hard, since they are all earning the same thing.
