Back to Hive: The Pause, Life Update And A Fresh Start.

Hello everyone!

Honestly, it feels so good to be here again on Hive after a very long time. Oops! I disappeared without a departure post, I guess life happens so fast at my end. Sincerely, it feels strange to be writing here again, I'm not going to pretend 😊, but I believe I'll blend back into doing what I love to do. No matter how long I stayed away, my love for writing never faded, and Hive remains a place where I keep learning and exploring new perspectives on different aspects of life.

My absence here for a long time does not mean I lost interest in Hive, but priorities changed, instead of breaking down, I had to step back and focus on things that matter the most. One of the reasons is my school. Initially, I was writing online and doing school at the same time, but it got to a point when schoolwork became more tedious, and I had to cope with lectures, assignments, and meeting deadlines for schoolwork. In order to protect my sanity, I decided to take a break from Hive till I'll be ready again.

Presently I'm done with my five-year academic program in school to the glory of God. It wasn't an easy journey, but God saw me through it all—the exhaustion, the night candles, and the sleepless nights during exams just because the lecturer had given us a glimpse of how the exam was going to be tough...lol. I can't help but read outside the box (if there's something like reading outside the box). Above everything, I thank God for being my strength when I felt tired, and I believe he will perfect the future that lies ahead. Apart from schooling, I also have to take a break due to some personal reasons and focus on things beyond the surface.

So what's next?

I said to myself, "I'm going to take my time before I'll be back on Hive; I'm not going to rush." Now I'm intentional, I don't want to appear and disappear again like a mist in the morning sun 😀. I'm going to make sure my time here is productive by writing as well as engaging with other writers. However, I'm not promising to be here writing/posting here daily because I have to be realistic, anything can happen at any time because, at the moment, I can't say I'm totally free, but I'll try to be active. Yay!! Another thing I missed is playing around my Canva to create a thumbnail for my Hive post, using different designs, templates, elements, etc. I must say it's fun 😃. Once again, I'm glad to be here again, pouring out my thoughts and experience into writing just as I’ve always loved to do. That sounds just right. 👌
