My worst Mango experience

My Worst Mango Experience....

Many years ago while I was still battling with Michael okpara University of Agriculture to compute my results so that I can go for travel for break, on my way back to Abia state from Ebonyi, as usual, the Driver stopped at Obollo Afor for passengers to buy stuff and Pee...
It was Mango Season then and I was very Happy and Excited when I saw Mangoes in Basins..
I came down from the Bus, met with a woman who had one Basin on her Head and she took me to where they packed so many Mangoes instead of selling the one she had with her(mistake number one. I should have sensed something).
I got there and they had sooooo many Mangoes there that were covered(mistake number two. I should have known that they weren't Ripe).
They packed some in a Big Basin and I started to Bargain. They agreed to my Price and gave me the Mangoes(mistake number three. The Mangoes were too cheap for that quantity. Na wetin Anya Ukwu (Oshofree)do me😆)
I asked them, "are you sure these Mangoes are Ripe(because the Mangoes were Green and Hard)?" They said "Yes! We plucked them from the Bush this morning"
I said "Okay", took my Mangoes and loaded them in the Bus(mistake number four. I'd have washed one, there and then and have a taste to be sure but I didn't. In my Head since the specie is Green, I can't say for sure that it's not Ripe)

I got Home very excited and when we tried to "enjoy" the Mangoes, not One, ALL the Mangoes were Unripe and I threw them ALL away 🥲

Since then, anytime I'm passing Obollo Afor and the Driver stops, I don't buy anything from them...
