THE ROLE OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN ACHIEVING SUCCESS

I was at work the other day and in the course of working, the client whose project we were working on started a discussion that got me really thinking. This discussion led into an argument among them and I was compelled to sit while listening.

They were discussing or rather arguing on the importance and preminence of the role financial assistance plays in achieving financial success as compared to personal development.. of which I intend to share my opinion as well as wish to hear yours.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The role of financial assistance as regards financial success cannot be over emphasized. A great man once said and I quote "nothing so much affects the life of a child than a parent unfulfilled life" in other words, the starting point of a child is mostly dependent on the foundation of the parents. We do say that all men are born equally but they never start equally. The environment, financial status, level of education as well as other variables are different for every individual.

Thus tends to affect the rate of progress a man attains as compared to his peers. A man born with a silver spoon is on a pinnacle higher than one whose parents are poor, even if they are both born on the same day, time, or venue. This is due to the opportunities which the other can get access to by virtue of his parents than the latter.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

Over the course of the years, I've known too well that all things being equal the height a man attains is equivalent to the man he has become personally. Personal development differentiates a man from his peers as it sets him on a pedestal. The role of personal development in achieving financial success can not be undermined. There have been situations where legacies left behind by parents have been brought down, properties have been lost, finances have been squandered due to lack of personal growth.

Therefore, despite the presence of financial aid, the tendency of achieving, maintaining and expanding on financial success depends on the personal growth of that individual. Men have grown from scratch, dust and pits into powerful financially successful individuals due to their level of personal development. Their dependency on themselves as they grow, explore, make mistakes, take corrections, make progress and evolve in their pursuit for lasting success.

The presence of financial assistance in correlation with personal development is a strong tool that is unchallenged and cannot be competed with on the journey for success. When combined, they are a major boost or catalyst in achieving a long lasting financial success.

NOTE

This variables are as stated conditioned primarily on FINANCIAL SUCCESS. We do have various parts of our lives which we do struggle to achieve success in, which includes career, education, marriage, Christian Life amongst others. success in those areas may be affected by the presence of the two variables discussed above but may not necessarily be dependent on them.
