Change of course, Molly.

Molly is a fashion designer for famous singers. She traveled a lot and has a life where she is practically always on the run. At least she knew interesting people and had access to very famous people in the music industry. So she had many contacts and friends all over the world and the country. The bad thing was living with the constant stress of delivering designs on time, dealing with very demanding clients and in general, surviving the chaos of this industry. At least she is a professional so she is always prepared for whatever comes. Or well at least that is what she thought until recently when something very stressful happened to her. Maybe it was the occasion where she was most stressed.

It all started with a trip. This particular trip had her especially nervous, because she had to present her new fashion collection at a very important fashion show where very famous people would attend. And the success she had here would lead to more contracts and orders that would help her a lot financially speaking. Before leaving on the trip she had everything planned down to the last detail, that is to say landing, going to the hotel, and attending the event. This was not the first time she had made one of these trips but for some reason she had a bad feeling that something bad was going to happen and I think she has a very good sense for this. It turns out that once she arrived at the destination country she stopped at a cafe to have a coffee and continue her trip to the hotel and in a few days go to the event.

Before entering the cafe she saw a child playing in the dirt, perhaps he was begging she thought. So she opened her bag and gave him 50 dollars so he could buy something to eat. The child was very happy because he was not expecting that gift. So she repeated her thanks many times. She entered the cafe happy for this good deed. After getting the coffee, she took a taxi and headed to the hotel. Things had been going relatively well up to this point. Things started to go very wrong when she entered her hotel room and checked her bag.

She realized that somewhere between the airport and the hotel, her notebook had disappeared or fallen out. This notebook was very important to her because inside were all her sketches and measurements for her new clothing designs. She also drew ideas for designs that came to mind. So in a way this notebook had her entire creative process inside. But that wasn't the worst part, inside the pages of the notebook were the photos of the new clothes she was going to present at the festival. Without those photos then she would have nothing to show at the event so her trip would be in vain. She immediately panicked, she didn't know what to do or how to react, it was so frustrating.

When she got over her panic a bit she started to think about where she had left it. Maybe she had dropped it in the taxi, so she called the agency to report the missing notebook but they told her that she didn't leave it in her taxi. So that made her even crazier. Then she tried to remember her journey, and she remembered the boy to whom she gave some money. She hoped to find him there to see if he knew if he had dropped it there. So she went back to the cafeteria but the child was no longer there. She started to cry and she had no other options. What could she do now? But an idea came to her mind in her desperation. She went into the cafeteria to ask the manager if he knew the child who was outside begging for alms. The manager told her that he didn't know where he lived but that he came often. So most likely if she waited a few days she would see him again.

That was a solution, but the problem was that she had limited days and time. The fashion event was on one day, so if she didn't find the notebook soon she would have to return home empty-handed and lose an excellent business opportunity. She asked herself again, what could she do? Well, the only option she had was to wait the rest of that day to see if the boy showed up. It was an eternal wait, she had been waiting all day, she had drunk so many cups of coffee that she lost count. It was already afternoon and it would get dark in a few hours, she had to return to the hotel in a few minutes because it was not safe to be alone on the street at night.

When she was about to leave, she saw someone small approaching. It was the boy, it was him at last. She ran as if there was no tomorrow to catch up with him. Before greeting him or saying anything to him, she hugged him and said, have you seen my notebook, I dropped it right here yesterday? The boy told her, I haven't seen any notebook, I only found a book for drawing clothes and things like that. She laughed because she knew that was the one. Can you give it to me? She said, and the boy said yes and she could go with him to his house to give it to him. When she gave it to him, she saw that some of the sketches she had drawn, the boy had colored them with his crayons. But he didn't bother her. He thanked her endlessly and said that he would hear from her again.

The next day was the event, everything ended as expected. All of his designs were a success and were bought and commissioned by famous personalities. The interesting thing is that a singer was interested in one of the models that the boy had painted, he offered him a million dollars to mass produce it for his company. She did not know what to answer because that design was not for sale, but she accepted because the offer was tempting. Before leaving for her country again she went to visit the boy again, she told him that when he grew up he would be a great painter. And that if he wanted one day they could work together, and as a thank you she gave him and his parents the million dollars for the design he painted. This was the beginning of a beautiful friendship, and that is how Behind the chaos came success.
