Hello My Dear Friends.

How are you?

I'm back amongst you again with another artwork of mine. This one is a hand-drawn fan art of a splinterlands monster named Lyanna Natura. This is a monster that plays under the earth's splinter. I was searching for a cute character to draw and this one was the one that got my attention. I couldn't ignore her natural beauty and beautiful eyes and decided to draw her in my own way.

It's true that mine isn't as good looking as the original one there's the fact that mine was hand drawn and I tried to draw in my own way and I hope you'll like her new look.

This drawing is to take my participation in the weekly art contest of @splinterlands. They arrange this contest every week and you can join too if you're interested. I'll share the link to the ongoing contest at the end of my post. It took me a few hours to complete the drawing I'll share the steps of my work below so that you can understand the process of how I completed it.

My Drawing:

Tools:

• A4 sized offset paper
• 2B pencil.
• 4B pencil.
• Colored Pencils.

Steps of My Drawing:

First Step:

First of all I used a 2B pencil to draw the base structure of the character. This part of the job takes always longer than expected. It always gets hard for me to point out the right image that I have in my mind and that's why I always have to be in total concentration mode.**

Second Step

• Then I used my colour pencils to draw her eyes first. And then her facial tone and the flower design on her hair.

Third Step:

• In this step I finished drawing her hair and the flower on her head, In this part, I first used a colour pencil to draw the brown shades of her hair and then I used a 4B pencil to draw the black hairs. N.B. I also used the 4B pencil to draw her eyelashes.

Fourth Step:

• In this part I completed drawing the body part of her. To start drawing it I first drew an outline of her dress and then fill it with colour. And then I drew the leaf part of her dress. It was a tricky one but it looked cool at the end.
