The Robot Revolution: Helpers Or Replacers.

We all know how chaotic, stressful and tiring life can be atimes, sometimes when I return home after a hectic day and a traffic jammed road, the last thing I want to do is sweep, cook, wash or even talk. My body aches and scream for rest, but adulthood as a song says....adulthood na scam.

You just have to do it, even if your body aches, even if it seems you wont make it past the next minute, you have to...you cook, clean, wash..even while trembling, you keep going. So, a robot would definitely go a long way in helping...just to imagine the robot handling all those cleaning, cooking, washing and even nanny work...sincerely, I think I really need one... I do.

But then again, having nothing to do is kinda dangerous, won't it be the beginning of loss for me, won't thst be me losing the very things that makes me human. When my robot handles bthe cooking, cleaning and all, will I really pick up that book to read, won't I have become so lazy that it would even be the robot that would read it to my hearing, what qwould I be doing then...would I still be myself, am I going to really do anything at all...would I even be comfortable.

The thing is...robots are good and awesome, they can do task and all, but can they really create memories, can they look st your child in your own kind if way, can they sing in your own tone and all, can they really sympathize with you......Even little things like folding clothes, washing and all has more to them.

Not that I'm against ease, even God knows I need/want it..everybody does. All of us just try go by our day as if the economy is not hard enough, but having a robot would free one if certain things/tasks...there would be time to rest, to write, to think and reflect... But if not cautioned, such a rest would make one lazy and rob one of purpose, cause if a machine should do every single thing, then whats left for me to feel proud of at the end of the day....will that feel like really living or just existing.

We can argue that we won't be like that, of a truth, it will be little from the beginning... From help me wash plate today, to help attend to my customers online tomorrow then to help read that novel and summarize and then to help babysit my child....we should try as much as possible to not mistake convenience for connection. Life is stressful, very well accepted, but no matter hke or what, we put our souls into everything that we do...can that be programmed, does the robot have a soul....

It would be great to have a robot as a helper and not a replacer. It would definitely do the hard and heavy tasks and I will make sure to handle those parts that still make me feel am really living. I don't want to stop how I often enjoy dancing while cooking, nor do I want to miss out on listening/vibing to music when doing certain house chores. Even with all these hardships and complains, being human is something no robot can replicate, it can never really understand me or my way.

All pictures are mine.

I'm not against the convenience that technology brings, after all, we all need a break, and everyday tasks can be exhausting.
