How Much Money Do I Really Need: The Real Cost Of A Good Life.

How much do I need, huhm, is it a million, or a hundred million, money is so important important that it can solve almost every problem. You are hungry, money can get you what to eat, you are sick, money will help you treat yourself, you want a roof over your head, money will help build one, you want a good and better life, just have money. Even respect, influence and connections in the society....its all about money.

The painful part is, no matter how much you have, it’s never enough. You think a hundred million will do, then you see someone spending that on a single family vacation. You think five hundred thousand is a lot, but then it just disappears after paying rent, buying food, and solving one or two emergencies. Money can solve most problems, and those problems too won't stop coming.

In as much as it is important, we shouldn't be desperate or greedy for it, reason being that we can be drunk of it, it might start controlling us, we might do anything just so to have it. If we are either of the two, we will definitely step on toes, lose self, be unsatisfied. That's why we see people steal, betray friends and even sell their peace of mind just to have it. What’s the point of having money and no joy, so when you think of how much you need, think beyond just yourself.

Here's how much I need and exactly what I need the money for. Firstly, I want to learn high income skills, I mean tech and digital skills that will set me up for life. At least a million naira will get me started. Secondly, I want a house, a very good and comfortable one, and fifteen million can get me that. Thirdyl, I want to help, I’ve been sick before, I have laid in hospital bed, heard the cries of people who had no money for treatment, lamenting and all. I know what it feels like to be helpless, and I don’t want to ignore that, and for that ten million or more is good to help those who are struggling, to pay for surgeries, drugs, admissions and all.

Also, I need money for the little things too. I am going for my NYSC(National Youth Service Corps), and I need money for getting some things, also I need money to travel, not just for pleasure but to see the world, to learn. Also, for my parents too, I need to give them the kind of comfort they never had while raising me. I want to be able to give without thinking twice, I want to be a able to surprise a friend with something they’ve always wanted.

If I should calculate how much I really need, maybe fifty millionaire. I did not want to be so specific, what I want deep down is financial stability. Money is not just about the numbers, but about what it can do. I want a financial stability that will come with the ability to change lives. I want it not to show off or feel superior, but to live well and help others do the same. I don't just want to be rich, I want to be able to make impact and be comfortable. The best use of money is not just in spending, but in making life better for yourself and for those around you.

Not allowing the money to control your mind and approach towards another is important.
Money by amount tends to never be enough but being financial stable and creating investment is vital.

We all want to be millionaires, but that is not actually what we need. It is possible to set realistic goals so we can actually work towards them instead of daydream about them.

If you haven't done so yet, I invite you to check and support Inleo's proposal here. Your support is valuable to us.
