A mistake turned to blessing

Hi guys, welcome to my blog. This life is not really balanced, there's sometimes that life will lock you down to make you make the wrong decision that will spoil everything you have been doing for many years and there's some mistakes that not many of us have made that spoil our life.

Let me share this little story with us, I have a friend from my childhood this friend we are so close to the extent that people can't even know anything about us, me and this friend we do things together like eating together, we also wear same clothes sometimes, but I noticed something about my friend, that he use to keep his money for me and pretending as if he doesn't have anything in his account.

Sometimes I used to pity him and withdraw every money I had for him and he would still collect the money and spend it without conscience. I played along as if I don't know anything because I don't want the relationship that we have built from childhood to collapse.

But one day this my friend called me and requested for sum of money from me that he want to use it to clean something's and he said that he will return the money back very soon, when I end the call I make a decision that I will never give this guy my money again, but my mind is telling that I should not do that, that I should give him the last chance maybe he will change and I make a decision to follow what my mind is told me.

Honestly I didn't have the money at hand and I went to someone to loan me the money so that I could give it to him. Funniest part is that I'm the one call him on the second day that he should send his account number so that I can send the money to him and I explained to him that I loan this money from someone, that he should return it back on time so that I can also return the money back to the owner and he said no problem.

Two months later, when he had not returned the money back and I started calling him but the funniest part is that he's not answering my calls anymore and the person I borrowed money from has being disturbing me and I didn't have any hope from somewhere else, early in the morning on second day I just heard someone banging my door and when I opened the door it's a two police officers at my door with handcuffs and then said to me that I'm under arrest from the person I borrowed the money from and I used like 5 days before they grant my bail and still now I don't know where abouts of friends but one his sisters told me the he has travel out of the country and she said that his brother just they spent lavishly in Canada anyhow and when I heard I started crying because it pained me, what I regret most is that I should have used the money for myself.

However, a few months later, this guy contacted me and apologized saying he regretted his action, he asked me to send him my account details and he refunded all I lent him. Aside from this, he has always been sending me money and just recently, he bought me a piece of land and everything I thought to be a mistake turned around for my good.

Although it took him time to repay me back, what I thought to be a mistake on my part was corrected and now my regrets are over.
