THE NEST ART CHALLENGE #3 / TEMPRANERO (Eng_Esp)

This is the third time I've come here, drawn by THE NEST ART CHALLENGE. I thank @maiasun84 for inviting us.

The bird featured in this post is picturesque, with multicolored plumage, and I learned to love it at an early age.

My rural origins mean that I carry it within me as part of my peasant and Cuban roots, undoubtedly also part of our idiosyncrasy.

It's hard to imagine a country house in my country where you can't hear, at dawn, the crowing of a free-range rooster from high in a tree, waking you up to the new day.

This utilitarian and elegant animal is mentioned in many popular phrases of the average Cuban.

For example:
_ They left him like the rooster of Morón, featherless and crowing, to indicate that someone has been swindled or ruined.
_You are like a fine rooster, to praise a handsome and conquering man.
_That is like the crowing of a rooster, to indicate that a place is relatively close.
_He is like a fighting rooster, when he fully recovers from an illness.
_He is happier than the chicken they left for a rooster, when someone is lucky.

The proverbs and phrases in popular use, incorporated into our cultural heritage, that allude to the rooster would be endless.

EARLY EARLY

The setting is a tree,
its motives, joy
and the duty to announce
that a new day begins.

Its colorful plumage
sparks fantasy,
blending in with the leaves,
not yet descending;
Up high, inspired,
he delivers his melody
clearly, with a tenor voice
he proposes the symphony.

Almost everyone wakes up
as the commotion begins.

He decides to descend
flapping his wings, his triumphant entrance
Don Gallo guides to the ground, with harmony.

The crowd joins in,
it's quite an epiphany.

The images I used were drawn by my son in pencil and watercolor, which illustrated my first published book for children.

I never miss the opportunity to show children those things that make us special and/or identify us as Cubans.

That's why, once again, my work is poetry for children. I do it with the aim of teaching them to leave bed and prepare for a new day after hearing a rooster crow.

Un afectuoso abrazo, amigos de los emplumados y se llegan hasta esta comunidad de #featheredfriends.

Es la tercera vez que vengo hasta aquí, atraída por este THE NEST ART CHALLENGE, agradezco a @maiasun84 que nos haya convocado.

El ave que traigo de protagonista a mi post, es pintoresca, de plumaje multicolor y que aprendí a querer a edad temprana.

Mis orígenes rurales, hacen que la lleve en mi como parte de mis raíces campesinas y cubana, sin dudas también es parte de nuestra idiosincrasia.

No sé concibe una casa de campo en mi país, donde no se escuche, al rayar el alba, el canto de un gallo de corral, desde lo alto de un árbol ,para despertar al nuevo día.

En muchas frases populares del cubano de a pie se hace mención a este animal, utilitario y elegante.

Por ejemplo:
_ Lo dejaron como el gallo de Morón, sin plumas y cacareando, Para señalar que estafaron o arruinaron a alguien.
_.Estás como gallo fino, para elogiar a un hombre apuesto y conquistador.
_ Eso queda al cantío de un gallo, para indicar que un lugar es relativamente cerca.
_Está como gallo de pelea, cuando se recupera totalmente de una dolencia.
_Es más dichoso que el pollo que dejaron pá gallo, cuando alguien tiene suerte.

Sería interminable los refranes y frases de uso popular, incorporadas a nuestro acervo cultural que hacen alusión al gallo.

TEMPRANERO

El escenario es un árbol,
sus motivos, la alegría
y el deber por anunciar
que comienza un nuevo día.

Su plumaje de colores
desata la fantasía,
se confunde con las hojas,
no desciende todavía;
allá en la altura, inspirado
entrega su melodía
clara, con voz de tenor
propone la sinfonía.

Se despiertan casi todos
empezó la algarabía.

Ya se decide a bajar
aleteando, al suelo guía
su entrada luce triunfal
Don Gallo,con armonía.

La multitud le hace coro,
es toda una epifanía.

Las imágenes que utilicé, son hechas por mi hijo a lápiz y acuarela, que ilustraron mi primer libro publicado, para niños.

Nunca pierdo la oportunidad de llevar a los niños aquellas cosas que nos hacen especiales y/o nos identifican como cubanos.

Por eso una vez más mi entrega es poesía para niños, lo hago con el ánimo de enseñarles a dejar la cama y prepararse para un nuevo día después de escuchar el canto de un gallo.
