I really like the questions being raised this week; without even questioning the opportunity, I was given the opportunity to participate.
People talk about how important persistence is to me. I want to tell you, persistence has been a law of life for me.
I'm a mother, a writer, and I enjoy independence thanks to my tenacity.
I acquired an educational level, against all odds, for the same reason, which is why I believe that what we call determination, struggle, fighting battles, overcoming obstacles, is nothing other than perseverance.
The doctor recommended that my pregnancy would be high-risk and that if I persisted, it would be under strict clinical care. Without hesitation, I chose the latter, and everything came to fruition.
I spent many years in a creative and literary limbo. When I decided to leave, many said it was too late.
I didn't stop, and my second solo book is already in my publishing house and has been published in more than fourteen anthologies inside and outside of Cuba.
I live alone, despite my severe limitations. Everyone says it's not advisable, but I have my survival strategies in exchange for not negotiating my space and privacy for anything in the world.
Perhaps some won't agree with me, but I only set limits on persistence when continuing with it damages my integrity.
Social, physical, and moral impacts, according to my convictions.
Or if it affects loved ones and the damage could cause irreparable consequences.
Then I give up, because continuing would be stubbornness with its respective consequences.
When the goals I pursue are clear, I don't give up until I see the result.
If I have doubts, I postpone; if I'm not convinced, I give up. But in Cuba, there's a popular saying that I uphold and proclaim:
HE WHO PERSEVERES, SUCCEEDS.

Me agradan mucho las interrogantes que esta semana se plantean, sin cuestionar siquiera la posibilidad me prestó a participar.
Se habla de cuan importante es para mí la persistencia, quiero decirles, persistir ha sido para mí ley de vida.
Soy madre, escritora y gozo de autonomía gracias a mi tenacidad.
Adquirí nivel educativo, contra todo pronóstico por el mismo motivo,por lo que creo que a lo que llamamos empeño, lucha, librar batallas,vencer obstáculos, no es otra cosa que perseverancia.
La recomendación médica para mí que mi embarazo sería de alto riesgo y de persistir sería bajo estrictos cuidados clínicos, sin dudar elegí lo segundo y todo llegó a feliz término.
Estuve muchos años en un limbo creativo literario, cuando decidí salir muchos decían que era demasiado tarde.
No me detuve y ya está mi segundo libro individual en mi Casa Editorial y publicaciones en más de catorce antologías dentro y fuera de Cuba.
Vivo sola, a pesar de mis severas limitaciones, todos dicen que no es recomendable,pero tengo mis estrategias de supervivencia a cambio de no negociar mi espacio y privacidad por nada del mundo.
Quizás algunos no estén de acuerdo conmigo, pero pongo límites a la persistencia solo cuando seguir en ella daña mi integridad.
Afectaciones en lo social, físico, moral, según mis convicciones.
O si afecta a seres queridos y el daño le puede ocasionar secuelas irreparables.
Entonces si desisto, porque proseguir sería terquedad con sus respectivas consecuencias.
Cuando los propósitos que persigo están claros, no desisto hasta ver el resultado.
Si tengo dudas aplazo, si no me convence desisto entonces , pero en Cuba hay un refrán popular que enarbolo y lo decreto:
EL QUE PERSEVERA, TRIUNFA.

Pienso igual que tú. Persisto hasta un punto. Sí no fluye, entrego las armas. Y no es rendirse. Es solo reorganizar la estrategia, calcular daño contra ganancias. Elegir lo que realmente merece ser luchado hasta el final 🙏🏻

Eres ejemplo de perseverancia. Cuando veo personas que como tú siguen adelante, que son fuente de inspiración. No me cabe duda que todo se puede lograr.

STOPExcelente punto para poder diferenciar entre terquedad y persistencia. La persistencia por lo general no lastima a los que nos rodean ni a nosotros, mientras que la terquedad por lo general suele causar daño.
