Por primera vez, será poesía/For the first time it will be poetry (Esp_Eng)

Hola queridos amigos que llegaron antes que yo y otros que vendrán después, a esta comunidad de #greenzone recién creada.

Descubrir que las amigas @iriswrite y @maylink se iniciaban en este proyecto , fue una agradable sorpresa para mí, admiro el esfuerzo, la tenacidad y la constancia en las personas y si estás son dos talentosas mujeres, aunque corra el riesgo de que me acusen de feminista, no puedo dejar de realzar su mérito.

Por eso el post de hoy no podía ser en otro lugar si no esta joven comunidad que aparece por primera vez en la inmensidad de #Hive.

Dónde iba a publicar ya estaba decidido, la disyuntiva fue elegir el tema pues quería, fuese algo significativo que afianzara mis buenas vibras para el proyecto.

Después de pensar y repensar tomé una decisión: si para mí la literatura es mi templo sagrado y dentro de ella la poesía, entonces mi carta de presentación en #greenzone, debía ser poesía.

Repasé un gran número de textos sueltos y proyectos de libros en edición hasta tener frente a mi un cuaderno, entre todos, bendecido.

Este cuaderno me dió la alegría,de ser el premio literario más importante alcanzado por mi dentro del territorio nacional, es decir, en Cuba.

Se trata de "EL SABOR DEL SILENCIO", un cuaderno de sonetos premiado por la UNEAC de Artemisa con la Beca de Creación "LA PUPILA INSOMNE" del 2023.

Escogí este poema dedicado a una de las poetas femeninas que más admiro de la literatura cubana a mi coterránea, Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda.

@iriswrite y @maylink son de su estirpe, mujeres cubanas empoderadas que no dejan margen ni al cansancio ni a la derrota.
Exitos para ambas y mis mejores vibras.

Tula, consagro a ti todo mi mundo
de fémina indomable, intransigente,
en una sociedad, donde valiente
lograste subyugar. Verso profundo.

¿Y cómo no admirarte, Peregrina
sí avisto tanta luz en tu mirada?
Romántica mujer, apasionada;
misógina opinión que te conmina

por hembra y poetisa. Fue tu reto
borrar de los anales tan ambigua
costumbre de amoral. Verso amuleto

de mi lírica pobre …y tan exigua,
oda al amor más tonto e incompleto;
por ti me obligo a renunciar la antigua

manera —indago un vericueto—
donde sin pausa mi poesía averigua.
Como la tuya, encontrará el secreto.

Hello, dear friends who came before me, and others who will come after me, to this newly created #greenzone community.

Finding out that my friends @iriswrite and @maylink were starting this project was a pleasant surprise for me. I admire effort, tenacity, and perseverance in people, and if these are two talented women, even if I run the risk of being accused of being a feminist, I can't help but praise their merit.

That's why today's post couldn't be anywhere else but this young community appearing for the first time in the vastness of #Hive.

I had already decided where I was going to publish; the dilemma was choosing the topic because I wanted it to be something meaningful that would strengthen my good vibes for the project.

After thinking and rethinking, I made a decision: if literature is my sacred temple, and poetry within it, then my letter of introduction to #greenzone had to be poetry.

I reviewed a large number of individual texts and drafts of books in print until I had a notebook in front of me, among them all, blessed.

This notebook gave me the joy of being the most important literary award I've won within the country, that is, in Cuba.

It's "THE TASTE OF SILENCE," a collection of sonnets awarded by the UNEAC in Artemisa with the "LA PUPILA INSOMNE" Creation Scholarship in 2023.

I chose this poem dedicated to one of the female poets I most admire in Cuban literature, my fellow countryman, Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda.

@iriswrite and @maylink are of her lineage, empowered Cuban women who leave no room for fatigue or defeat.
Success to both of them and my best vibes.

PRECURSOR OF TIME

Tula, I consecrate my entire world to you
of an indomitable, uncompromising woman,
in a society where you bravely
managed to subjugate. Profound verse.

And how can I not admire you, Pilgrim
when I see so much light in your gaze?
Romantic, passionate woman;
misogynistic opinion that compels you

as a woman and a poet. It was your challenge
to erase from the annals such an ambiguous
custom of amorality. Amulet verse

of my poor lyric poetry…and so meager,
ode to the most foolish and incomplete love;
for you I force myself to renounce the ancient

way—I investigate a twist—
where my poetry unceasingly seeks.
Like yours, it will find the secret.
