Un abrazo a los amigos que transitan está comunidad #topfamily, una vez más con infinito placer correspondo a la iniciativa de @lanzjoseg como cada jueves.

La imagen elegida para hoy es de un lugar que me despertó la curiosidad y el resultado, una impresión grata.

El que lo observa por fuera no imagina cuánta belleza guarda.

Hace unos meses fui invitada en mi condición de poeta a un evento en la Habana y dentro del programa, la actividad central, fue en La Plaza Vieja del Casco histórico.

Tuvimos que dejar el ómnibus y realizar el acceso a la plaza andando atravesado por la calle OFICIOS.

A mitad de la calle me encontré con El COCHE MAMBI o presidencial, está situado a un lado del Salón de la Ciudad y constituye una joya museo cargada de historia.

Llegó a la Habana en 1912, cuyo destino era servir de uso personal al presidente de la compañía ferroviaria.

Aunque tenía el nombre de MAMBI, los trabajadores lo bautizaron con el de presidencial, por el uso que se le daba y cobró mayor sentido al usarse posteriormente para que viajar el gobernante de turno y esto se debía a la seguridad y confort del coche.

No fueron pocos los presidentes que viajaron en ese coche José Miguel Gómez, García Menocal, Fulgencio Batista, el último en viajar en él fue Fidel Castro.

Hoy es un museo, no solo por su historia sino también por los objetos que atesora en su interior ,su compartimiento y el estado de conservación de su forma original.

Visitarlo es gratis y presta servicios al público ,tanto nacionales como extranjeros, de lunes a sábado de 9:00 am a 2:00 pm.

Lamento que la prisa de mi recorrido no me permitiera hacer más fotos pero los exhorto a llegar hasta alli y admirar su belleza.

Quien observa su exterior no imagina todas las condiciones creadas tanto en la decoración como la funcionalidad del diseño compartimentado.

The image chosen for today is of a place that sparked my curiosity, and the result is a pleasant impression.

Anyone who sees it from the outside can't imagine how much beauty it holds.

A few months ago, I was invited, as a poet, to an event in Havana, and the main event was in the Plaza Vieja (Old Square) in the historic center.

We had to leave the bus and access the square on foot, crossing OFICIOS Street.

Halfway down the street, I came across the MAMBI, or presidential, car. It's located next to the City Hall and is a gem of a museum steeped in history.

It arrived in Havana in 1912, its purpose being to serve as the personal vehicle of the president of the railway company.

Although it was called MAMBI, the workers renamed it presidential, due to its use. It took on even greater significance when it was later used for travel by the current president, due to the car's safety and comfort.

Many presidents traveled in that car: José Miguel Gómez, García Menocal, Fulgencio Batista, and the last to travel in it was Fidel Castro.

Today it is a museum, not only for its history but also for the objects it houses, its compartment, and the state of preservation of its original form.

Visiting it is free and is open to the public, both domestic and international, from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

I regret that my haste during my tour prevented me from taking more photos, but I urge you to go there and admire its beauty.

Anyone who looks at its exterior cannot imagine all the conditions created, both in terms of decoration and the functionality of the compartmentalized design.
