You have a complex, hard, and exceptional job. Helping human beings to thrive is already difficult, let alone the ones with special needs. I know this kind of job takes a toll on us, not only physically and emotionally but spiritually. I hope you've found a way to balance your job and your life so your inner drive won't get swollen by your empathy and your commitment to help the other, friend. Wish you my best on this path you've chosen, but remember you can always take a (long) break.
I'm so sorry for what happened to Sweetheart. Breaks my heart. I've seen these rallies, and that's why I'm always worried when someone who's really sick suddenly seems to be better, like a lot better. Wherever she went,I think Heaven is a good choice if we're given the chance to choose even when this is just for the sake of conversation. Makes us feel relieved and sleep better.
