Hey, coffee friends!

How's your coffee life going. Mine is full of reading and rereading to do. Tough month.

Tea houses are charming and as good for reading and sharing with friends and family as coffee shops, only that they have a quieter atmosphere, I think.

I'd visit them as much as coffee shops if only they were within reach. In my city we don't have tea houses, but there's a variety of good teas and herbal infusions offered in various restaurants and coffee shops. True. But they're not tea houses.

I always thought that going to a tea house was a waste of time and money until I was able to go to one at CC La vela on Margarita Island about twenty years ago. It was my first time. And I would've loved to visit it again, but well, I didn't, and now I think it must've gone out of business; I'm not sure. Now, why a waste of time and money? Well, because I didn't have the necessary knowledge to appreciate it; I still don't, but I have a little more than at that time. And if at that time, I could enjoy it, I believe that now I'd enjoy it more, logically...

I enjoy tea while writing but prefer coffee for reading. Does it happen to you? I don't see myself writing at a tea house 😏

Don't make me choose because, all in all, you know coffee is my thing. A book & a cup of coffee at a nice coffee shop. Right.

Hi @marlyncabrera, what a pleasure to read you, so you like to write drinking tea and read drinking coffee, but you can't imagine writing in a tea house. I don't have it so well defined jjjj I enjoy tea but I agree with you, coffee is my thing😅. Look I would really like to attend a tea house and see the ritual when serving it, In Cuba I haven't seen that.Nice Weekend.

Imagine that, me writing in a teahouse, hehe, making my weird faces, staring at the emptiness. That'd be weird, haha.

I share your tastes, there is nothing better than a reading and a good coffee, or the company of friends and a good coffee and what better place than a coffee shop 🙌🙌🙌

Yes, ma'am. Coffee and a good book, coffee and good friends, at home or at the coffee shop is just nice. I also love to sip on a good cup of coffee while petting my cats ❤️

If the tea house offers an exquisite collection of various teas, then it will truly be a great experience. About the atmosphere, I think that it depends on the owners or managers of the place. Only your imagination is the limit… Unlike you, I don’t find myself drinking tea at all… 😁

I'm particularly fond of masala chai, but I've only had it at home so far. I'd be happy to drink it at a teahouse just like it was coffee, you know... with a friend or a relative... Certainly, for me, coffee wins! But I like to have options 🙃

In my city There is no tea house, as far as I know, but there are plenty of coffee shops so it is not that difficult to choose. What I look for when I go out somewhere is to be able to read for a while or work comfortably when the atmosphere at home is stifling.

As always, your kitten is very adorable, an ideal companion for all moments.

I leave you a cup of coffee for this sunday.☕

I wish the music was more bearable in the cafes of my city. It's often loud or obnoxious; sometimes this happens because they leave a bunch of teenagers in charge of the store without any guidance as to what kind of music is appropriate for a public establishment where people are chatting and relaxing 🤦‍♀

Well, I've never visited a tea house, I wish I could, although that wouldn't change my preference for coffee. For me, coffee to read and to write jeje

My love for coffee is huge; however, there are benefits in some teas and herbal/root infusions that you won't find in coffee. I've become really fond of masala chai and turmeric & ginger cold infusions; I find them super tasty, comforting, while they also keep my joints in optimal conditions and strengthen my immune system. They are my lovers. Coffee is my husband, hehe

Of course, tea and reading don't go together at all, tea is very relaxing and would make me very sleepy when reading. 🙈
