I'm Very Fond of Coffee || Spill the Beans #92
Hey, coffe lovers!
I hope you're having a nice week ☕️
I posted a recipe last night, but I don't like to miss the opportunity to #spillthebeans, so here I come with a coffee post. This chapter is about whether we're casual coffee drinkers or coffeeholics. Oh, well!

If coffee is available, I can't help but drink it, just as I can't help petting the kittens that approach me. When I don't have it, I miss it.
Let's see, I have suffered withdrawal symptoms when I have skipped, for some strange and evil reason, my holy morning coffee.
Am I a coffee addict?
I might be!
Just as much as I'm a cat addict.
Though I would never brew and drink my kitties, not even figuratively, not even in fiction. If coffee is available, I can't help but drink it, just as I can't help petting the kittens that approach me. When I don't have it, I miss it badly... Let's see, I've suffered withdrawal symptoms when I have skipped, for some strange and evil reason, my holy morning coffee. It happens when you're an addict.
For many reasons, coffee is often there, around me, which has helped to reinforce my habit addiction.

My granny used to give me coffee when I was six.
Strong coffee with a dash of milk and a lot of sugar--that and buttered bread--. My mother would've never approved of this, but we kept it our secret. Then my mom herself began to give me guayoyo, light black coffee, just a little bit. I don't remember when it started, but by the time I was 12, I was drinking coffee like a championess. And now that I'm an adult, it's...
Coffee at home. Coffee with cake. Coffee to go.
With my brunch. When I cook. That one in the afternoon.
Ah, a coffee with ❤️
with my comadre, with my family, dearest friends, that one love and all the loves.
Or coffee with heart 🤣
This piece of exquisite art was made by little girl one of my students was babysitting. She gave me the drawing and a kiss on the cheek. Cute, right? I know. See the steaming coffee in my hand? She caught that! Just so super cute.
I've had to drink a couple of bitter coffees in my life. Not every occassion to get together is to celebrate. Fortunately, there's also
coffee with a happy mood.
The one they serve in the salon is not the best...
But it makes us smile.
In my case, the decision to drink coffee happens every day.
Many coffee lovers would agree with me on this.
Coffee makes any place become familiar.
You may not know anyone in a room; suddenly, coffee happens, and everyone begins to look like they're not exactly strangers anymore. We start talking as we see that hint of familiarity in eyes that have never met ours until that coffee moment. So when they ask me, "¿Un cafecito?" I accept without blinking.
I used to drink more than five cups of coffee a day; it happens to a lot of us coffee lovers who must read a lot and/or write a lot. In fact, many people "learn" the vice, haha, because they choose an academic life related to letters... Now I drink two or three. I find that too much coffee today makes me feel exhausted tomorrow. Literally. So now I have reduced the amount of coffee I drink in a day by eliminating the one I used to have in the evenings, which is precisely the one that was causing me not to rest while actually sleeping.
So now I am officially a coffee addict who drinks 2 to 3 cups a day and seeks solace in an herbal tea after dinner 🙂

Thank you so much for stopping by, dear @cinnccf team. Much appreciated! ☕♥️💯
Ah well, your coffee addiction started very early. When I was a kid I liked coffee with milk that was almost always at home every morning, but I hated black coffee, I said it was for old people hahaha. It was when I studied at the university that I started to like it a little bit, now I can say that I can really enjoy it.
I love your photos, especially the one where the kitty is sleeping 😉
An addiction that began with a wonderful accomplice. My grandmother was also the one who instilled in me the love of drinking coffee, of course, with the typical guayoyo.
Addiction isn't bad, especially if it's because of our coffee. I'm addicted until midday, and after that, if I have the urge, I suppress it with tea.
I like it when you said, coffee at home, coffee with cake, coffee to go. It's like coffee goes along with just about anything. :)
