Sunday is a day for the forest

This is almost becoming a tradition for my family every week we are in the forest.
Location: Fruška Gora National Park, Serbia
This time we chased some small waterfalls
But we had no luck, google maps does not work the best in the forest and mountains, it kept leading us to the wrong side.
And unfortunately there are not many signs. So we did not manage to find a single waterfall. And since we are going with a child we did not dare to go off the trail It is neither safe nor secure and it is not wise to deviate from the marked trails

As you will see, on the marked forest path itself, obstacles can sometimes be found, such as fallen trees.

We didn't give up, we enjoyed the walk, the fresh air and by chance we found a cave
On which there are bars, for safety because as far as I could see the cave is steep and deep
It was a nice "catch",,

And besides that catch, besides the plant life that I constantly praise, this time we were lucky to encounter a couple of smaller animals
Like a snake
It's actually not a snake but a lizard, at least that's what Wikipedia says
Slepić is a legless lizard from the family Anguidae.

All in all, it was a nice weekend and vacation with a little walking if you like. We stopped at a few places along the way to take pictures of the beautiful scenery.
