Pitha festival....

Mild winter has started in Bangladesh. In places where there are more trees, it is wintering very well. Especially in the early morning and after the afternoon it gets cold very well. Winter pitha is the favorite food of Bengalis.

Those who stay away from home in hostels or halls are deprived of this winter pie. But every year in the field adjacent to the Rokeya Hall of Rajshahi University, an atmosphere like pitha festival was created. Various types of winter pitha were available including steamed pitha, chitai pitha, oil fried pitha, puli pitha and various types of vorta. If the shop is placed in front of the hall, there is overcrowding, and for this reason, last year, these pitha shops were placed in front of TSCC of Rajshahi University instead of in front of Rokeya Hall.

The bigger thing is that you can get the taste of winter by eating winter pitha even from far away from home. The place is full of students. These shops are open from 4 pm to 8 pm. It is a different feeling to see the gathering of friends here while eating pitha. Apart from campus students, many outsiders also come to enjoy this winter pie.
