Nest of Baya Weaver(Babui Pakhi)

There is a big palm tree next to the pond in front of my village house, every time I used to go home, I used to see babui pakhi's nests in the tree. I used to stand under the tree and watch baby birds. Sometimes the bird's nest would break and fall down, I would pick it up and play.

Babui Pakhi works hard to build a house. Lips repair the grass lining. Gently rub the belly to smooth the rounded shape. At the beginning there are two downward holes. Later, one side is closed and there is a place to keep the eggs. The other side is the long entrance and exit. It is said: To light up the house at night, Babui pakhi takes a jonaki and brings light.

Now I have grown up, I was standing on the side of the road reminiscing about my childhood, I saw a bird's nest disappearing in front of my eyes. A small child brought the house to me and showed me.
