Today I will talk about one such airport which is the largest and international airport of a developing country named Bangladesh, It is situated at the capital city Dhaka. Almost all international passengers embark at and disembark from HSIA. More than 90% of aeronautical functions of CAAB is carried out from it.

Bangladesh's main and largest international airport located at Kurmitola in the capital Dhaka. After it started its operations in 1980, it shifted its operations from Tejgaon Airport, formerly the only international airport in Bangladesh. It is the home base of all airlines of Bangladesh including Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Air Astra, US-Bangla Airlines.
