Bangabandhu bridge; almost extinct Jamuna river ....

Life is another name for travel. And the river is a place of peace. And if the means of travel is the train, then another peace is added to the peace.

Today I went again to see the Jamuna river through the Bangabandhu Bridge. The window seat of the train and the slow moving train over the river....is a means of peace of mind for me.

Although there is no water flow in the river like before, the river has become very narrow. The place where the beginning of the river used to be has dried up a lot, it looks like a whole desert

As the train passes over the bridge, you can see how the river has dried up at the beginning and end.

The river still has aquatic life so it cannot be called a dead river but it does not have the same current as before. Losing such flow of the river, drying up the water is a very sad thing for thousands of rivers and nature lovers like me. This river regains its life when it receives enough rain, then the current of the river tells of the river's survival.
