A stadium.......

Sheikh Kamal Stadium (also known as Rajshahi University Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium located at Rajshahi University in the Rajshahi district of Bangladesh[1]. Its location is east of the first and second science buildings of the university. It is the only full-fledged stadium among the universities of Bangladesh.

Unlike other stadiums in Bangladesh, this stadium is not affiliated to the National Sports Council. The overall maintenance of this stadium is managed by the physical education department of Rajshahi University.

Various inter-departmental sports of Rajshahi University especially football, cricket, volleyball, handball and athletics are held in this stadium. Inter-university games of Bangladesh are also held at this venue. In addition to sporting events, graduation convocations and cultural programs and concerts are organized in this stadium.

Currently, the capacity of the gallery of this stadium is 30,000. However, when concerts or cultural events are organized in the stadium grounds, people gather in excess of the capacity of the gallery.

I don't get the chance to watch the game personally, but that day I went to see my own department playing football in the semi-final at the university stadium. The place has witnessed many defeats and victories. Every place has it's own history, isn't it ? For today I'm saying goodbye to you all , take care dear hivers.....
