Guacamayo Azul símbolo de fragilidad
Esta imagen me hizo recordar la película Río que ví en los tiempos de pandemia, una película animada, llena de lecciones de lealtad y resiliencia.
Blu un guacamayo azul que vive cómodamente en Minnesota (Estados Unidos) junto a su dueña, donde vive una vida más humana que salvaje, por medio de un desconocido se enteran que es el único macho de su especie, también se enteran que en Río de Janeiro (Brasil) existe un guacamayo hembra de la misma especie, emprenden una aventura para hallarla y no dejar morir la especie, se enfrentan a peligros y desatinos con un cruel traficante.
El Guamayo de Spix, el ave azul fue el protagonista de dicha película, hoy en día convertido en un ave en extinción de su hábitat, su prematura desaparición nos recuerda del daño que le causa la humanidad a la naturaleza a través de la contaminación, desforestación, tráfico ilegal, el uso de sus plumas para elaborar artesanías, tenerlas en cautiverio, no somos concientes de la fragilidad de la biodiversidad de los seres vivos ni del daño que hacemos con nuestro proceder.
Actualmente esta hermosa y famosa ave proveniente de Brasil sólo puede ser vista en cautiverio.

Blue-and-yellow macaw, a symbol of fragility This image reminded me of the movie Rio, which I saw during the pandemic, an animated film full of lessons in loyalty and resilience. Blu, a blue-and-yellow macaw, lives comfortably in Minnesota (United States) with his owner, where he lives a life more human than wild. Through a stranger, they learn that he is the only male of his species. They also learn that in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), there is a female macaw of the same species. They embark on an adventure to find her and prevent the species from dying out. They face dangers and misfortunes with a cruel trafficker. Spix's macaw, the blue bird that was the protagonist of the film, is now considered an endangered bird in its habitat. Its premature disappearance reminds us of the damage humanity causes to nature through pollution, deforestation, illegal trafficking, the use of its feathers in handicrafts, and keeping them in captivity. We are unaware of the fragility of the biodiversity of living beings or the damage we cause with our actions. Currently, this beautiful and famous bird from Brazil can only be seen in captivity.

La película es un llamado urgente a la acción, una advertencia de abordar el peligro inminente que corren los ecosistemas y como el abuso indiscriminado de la mano del hombre puede desaparecer una especie de cualquier ser vivo.
El final feliz de la película donde nos quedó la esperanza de la continuidad de reproducción de la especie en su hábitat natural, en la vida real si no creamos conciencia eso no va suceder.
Debemos conocer, valorar, proteger y preservar las especies de nuestro planeta, para que el Guacamayo Azul y todas las formas de vida, sigan embelleciendo y enriqueciendo y alegrando nuestro mundo.

The film is an urgent call to action, a warning to address the imminent danger facing ecosystems and how indiscriminate human abuse can wipe out any species of living being. The film's happy ending left us with hope for the continued reproduction of the species in its natural habitat. In real life, if we don't raise awareness, that won't happen. We must understand, value, protect, and preserve the species of our planet so that the Blue-and-White Macaw and all forms of life continue to beautify, enrich, and brighten our world.
