La amiga @neuropoeta nos invita a mirar a nuestro alrededor y buscar dentro de nosotros esos encuentros maravillosos que nos han marcado el alma.
Lo maravilloso de vivir son las sorpresas que podemos encontrar a lo largo del vivir, que sin buscarlas solo con levantar la mirada están ahí como una bonita casualidad, seres humanos que de la nada te sacan una sonrisa sin importar como haya estado tu día y aunque pases tiempo sin verlos no se olvidan, su recuerdo efímero te hace disfrutar de haberlo conocido y de haberlo tenido en tu vida.

Our friend @neuropoeta invites us to look around us and search within ourselves for those wonderful encounters that have left their mark on our souls. The wonderful thing about life is the surprises we can find throughout our lives. They are there, without looking for them, just by looking up, like a beautiful coincidence. Human beings who, out of nowhere, bring a smile to your face, no matter how your day has been. Even if you go a while without seeing them, you never forget them. Their fleeting memory makes you enjoy having known them and having had them in your life.

Mi amiga Angela, no puedo decir que nos conocimos por casualidad pero si que nuestra amistad fue casualidad, estudiamos los últimos dos años de bachillerato juntas pero no perteneciamos al mismo grupo, ella era del grupo que llamabamos "las populares" del salón, esporadicamente nos saludabamos, un día se me quedó mi libro de inglés y ella me ofreció el suyo para que leyera mi párrafo, fue un pequeño gesto para una amistad de treinta y siete años seguidos, hizo mis días muy agradables con su presencia en mi vida, mantenemos ese contacto virtual permanente.

My friend Angela, I can't say that we met by chance but our friendship was by chance, we studied the last two years of high school together but we didn't belong to the same group, she was in the group we called "the popular ones" in the class, we sporadically greeted each other, one day I left my English book and she offered me hers so I could read my paragraph, it was a small gesture for a friendship of thirty-seven years in a row, she made my days very pleasant with her presence in my life, we maintain that permanent virtual contact.

Esto si fue una gran causalidad, conocí a María en una de esas intermeninables colas de farmatodo por ahí en 2016, coincidimos una vez y a la siguiente semana estaba guardandome un puesto, conectamos enseguida, fue amor a primera vista, ella es de esas personas que te dicen si yo tengo tu tienes, adivina como estas y que necesitas, recuerdo que un día me invitó a caminar, yo en ese momento no tenía zapatos apropiados para caminar, le dije para la próxima semana empezamos dame chance de comprar los zapatos.
Mi sorpresa que un domingo por la noche tocó mi puerta con unos zapatos deportivos y unos lentes de sol para mi, como que no quería excusas de mi parte y yo mega sorprendida y agredecida con su generosidad y su solidaridad conmigo, por la fuerte situación que vivimos en Venezuela tuvo que irse, nuestros lazos de amistad están intactos quien sabe si Dios nos da la oportunidad de volver a coincidir.

This was a real coincidence. I met María in one of those endless lines at the pharmacy back in 2016. We bumped into each other once, and the next week she was saving me a spot. We connected immediately. It was love at first sight. She's one of those people who tells you, "I have it, you have it," "Guess how you are, and what you need." I remember one day she invited me for a walk. At the time, I didn't have any appropriate walking shoes. I told her, "We'll start next week, give me a chance to buy the shoes." To my surprise, one Sunday night, she knocked on my door with some sneakers and sunglasses for me. She didn't want any excuses from me, and I was incredibly surprised and grateful for her generosity and solidarity with me. Due to the difficult situation we're experiencing in Venezuela, she had to leave. Our bonds of friendship are intact; who knows, maybe God will give us the opportunity to meet again.

Recién mudada a mi actual hogar, caminando una mañana asoleada, con mi cabeza llena de pensamientos de pronto volteo hacia mi derecha y esta la sra Idacelia me saludo con una gran sonrisa y esa expresión en su rostro que reflejaba mucha ternura, mujer de temple, cariñosa, bondadosa la conocí y enseguida me hizo parte de su familia y yo de la mía, soy la persona en la que confía cuando se siente enferma, feliz, molesta, estoy muy agradecida de haberla conocido es mi pilar al que puedo recostarme, su aliento, sus consejos son invaluables, es optimista, alegre sus ochenta y cuatro años han sido bien llevados, su presencia es un bálsamo para mi, es la que me contiene en mis momentos de sombras..

Just moved to my current home, walking one sunny morning, with my head full of thoughts, I suddenly turn to my right and there is Mrs. Idacelia, she greeted me with a big smile and that expression on her face that reflected a lot of tenderness, a woman of character, loving, kind, I met her and immediately she made me part of her family and I part of mine, I am the person she trusts when she feels sick, happy, upset, I am very grateful to have met her, she is my pillar that I can lean on, her encouragement, her advice are invaluable, she is optimistic, cheerful, her eighty-four years have been well spent, her presence is a balm for me, she is the one who contains me in my moments of shadows.

Como ellas tres tengo muchas personas en vida que iluminan mis días, mi familia, conocidos y amigos que me llenan de energía y me inspiran a ser cada día mejor que con su presencia, palabras o acciones me recuerdan la importancia de los afectos, la amistad y el apoyo mutuo, siempre le doy gracias a Dios por manifestarse a través de esas personas maravillosas que siempre coloca a mi alrededor.

Like the three of them, I have many people in my life who brighten my days: my family, acquaintances, and friends who fill me with energy and inspire me to be better every day. Their presence, words, and actions remind me of the importance of affection, friendship, and mutual support. I always thank God for manifesting himself through those wonderful people he always places around me.
