Greetings friends of the @Topfamily community, I hope and wish you are all well. Today is Thursday and #tbt is featured in our friend @lanzjoseg's weekly event called the TBT Contest: One Photo, One Story, One of These Days.

Una foto junto a dos de mis hijos, en mi casa, en noviembre del 2019, recién llegada mi hija de Perú así que yo estaba muy contenta, la familia en general estaba feliz, ese día mi hija ya tenía tres días en casa y estaba cumpliendo años mi hijo menor él que esta en la foto José David, todo eso aconteció antes de aparecer el terror de los primeros casos de COVID-19 en la ciudad Wuhan, China.
En la mañana fuimos al pueblo donde vive mi suegra pasamos la mañana ahí, mi hija visitando y abrazando a su familia abuela, tíos, primos después de tres años fuera del país.
En la tarde en casa ya habíamos mandado hacer una torta de chocolate, para festejar al cumpleaños, compramos pizza (su comida favorita) algunos pasapalos, refresco, cervezas, mucha alegría y la mejor bendición con mi familia completa en casa, para celebrar los veinte años de José David, con solo la familia hasta ese momento sólo éramos seis personas, actualmente somos ochos en mi familia vamos aumentando.

A photo with two of my children, at my house, in November 2019. My daughter had just arrived from Peru, so I was very happy. The family in general was happy. That day, my daughter had already been home for three days, and my youngest son, the one pictured here, José David, was celebrating his birthday. All of this happened before the terror of the first cases of COVID-19 appeared in Wuhan, China. In the morning, we went to the town where my mother-in-law lives. We spent the morning there, my daughter visiting and hugging her family—grandmother, aunts, uncles, and cousins—after three years abroad. In the afternoon, at home, we had already ordered a chocolate cake to celebrate his birthday. We bought pizza (his favorite food), some snacks, soda, and beer. We enjoyed a lot of joy and the best blessing with my entire family at home to celebrate José David's twentieth birthday. Up until that moment, we were only six people with just our extended family. Currently, we are eight in my family, and we are growing.

Mi hijo aunque le gusta la torta de chocolate, no le gusta mucho que le celebren y le canten cumpleaños, pero nosotros igual lo hacemos, se pone algo serio y luego acepta con gusto nuestra manera de festejarlo, celebrar la vida para mi es una oportunidad de compartir y de agradecer a Dios por todo lo que nos da, ya pronto el próximo 13 de septiembre es su nueva vuelta al sol, Dios mediante tendremos torta de chocolate y pizza en nuestra casa.

My son, although he likes chocolate cake, doesn't really like being celebrated and sung happy birthday, but we do it anyway. He gets a bit serious and then gladly accepts our way of celebrating. Celebrating life for me is an opportunity to share and thank God for everything he gives us. Soon, next September 13th will be his next trip around the sun. God willing, we'll have chocolate cake and pizza at our house.
