Concurso TBT una foto una historia un día de esos || Throwback Thursday contest: one photo, one story, one of those days.

Saludos y bendiciones apreciada comunidad @Topfamily, siempre agradecida de poder participar en cada dinámica creada, hoy como cada jueves vengo con sumo placer a compartirles un nuevo recuerdo.

Greetings and blessings to the esteemed @Topfamily community, always grateful to be able to participate in each activity created. Today, as every Thursday, I come with great pleasure to share a new memory with you.

Este recuerdo que rememoro hoy una fotografía junto a mi suegra, es de esos días estresante, cuando estábamos bien congestionado y afectados por la escasez de combustible en Venezuela sobre todo en maturin, donde pasamos por varias etapas, hubo momentos que nos tocó amanecer en colas expuestos a ser robados y a otros peligros, también tuvimos momentos de que hacíamos la cola en una estación de servicio todo el día , en la tarde la alcaldesa hacia un sorteo de las bombas a surtir que muchas veces perdíamos el tiempo, día soleado o lluvioso por que la bomba donde hicimos cola no salió en el sorteo.

This memory I recall today, a photograph with my mother-in-law, is from those stressful days when we were very congested and affected by the fuel shortage in Venezuela, especially in Maturin, where we went through several stages. There were times when we had to spend the night in lines exposed to being robbed and other dangers. There were also times when we stood in line at a gas station all day. In the afternoon, the mayor would hold a lottery to determine which stations would be supplied, which often wasted our time, whether it was a sunny or rainy day, because the station where we were queuing wasn't selected in the lottery.

Ese día de la foto que les comparto hoy fue en el pueblo donde vive mi suegra(El Tejero, estado Monagas) ahí en la estación de servicio tenemos un conocido, como se enteró de la necesidad que teníamos de ir a buscar a mi suegra para llevarla al médico, nos ofreció apoyarnos con gasolina y sin cola, así que nos fuimos pasadas las dos de la tarde a echar gasolina y a buscar a mi suegra, el día siguiente tenía cita con el neurólogo, estaba presentando leves problemas de olvido, creo que eso fue en el 2020.
Hoy en día los leves olvidos de mi suegra se hicieron más largos y casi en su totalidad, a nosotros no nos reconoce mucho por lo menos no como el papel que representamos en el rol familiar, somos extraños la familia y los nombres que ella tiene en su mente no se asemeja a lo representamos actualmente, hoy tiene quince días intensos en mi casa mañana va casa de otra hija, lo hacemos así para colaborar entre todos y agotarnos menos ya vendrá nuevamente en tres meses, igual nosotros la visitamos siempre.

The day the photo I'm sharing today was taken was in the town where my mother-in-law lives (El Tejero, Monagas state). We have an acquaintance at the gas station there, and when he heard about our need to pick her up to take her to the doctor, he offered to help us with gas and skip the line. So, we left after 2:00 PM to get gas and pick her up. The next day she had an appointment with a neurologist; she was experiencing mild memory problems. I think that was in 2020. These days, my mother-in-law's mild memory lapses have become more prolonged and almost total. She doesn't recognize us much, at least not in the roles we play in the family. We're strangers to her, and the names she has in her mind don't match who we are now. She's spending two weeks at my house; tomorrow she's going to another daughter's house. We're doing this so we can all help out and avoid getting too tired. She'll be back again in three months, and we'll visit her regularly.
