Por fin se ha llegado el día de compartir estos bellos girasoles que realicé, y sí, me contenta mucho compartir parte de mi proceso con las flores de limpiapipas, saben que cuando comencé realicé un girasol con maceta para mí mamá lo pueden ver aquí para ese entonces era el primero que realizaba a pesar de que me gustó como quedó, hoy puedo decir que con la práctica constante se logran mejores resultados.

The day has finally arrived to share these beautiful sunflowers I made, and yes, I'm very happy to share part of my process with pipe cleaner flowers. You know that when I started, I made a sunflower with a pot for my mom, you can see it here. At that time, it was the first one I made, although I liked how it turned out. Today I can say that with constant practice, better results are achieved.

Hoy les muestro una versión mejorada, ideal para emprender, también me di cuenta que la calidad de los limpiapipas influye mucho, ya que estos los compré en otro estado tienen más volumen y su textura es diferente a los que compro en Barquisimeto, me pidieron estos dos girasoles para el día del amor y la amistad y yo feliz y contenta con el resultado.

Today I'm showing you an improved version, ideal for starting a business. I also realized that the quality of the pipe cleaners makes a big difference, since these ones I bought in another state have more volume and their texture is different from the ones I buy in Barquisimeto. I was asked to make these two sunflowers for Valentine's Day and I'm happy and pleased with the result.

Paso a paso / Step by step

El primer paso que voy a realizar será seleccionar el limpiapipas de color amarillo, este tono es un poco más oscuro y queda perfecto para este tipo de flor, así que para cada girasol voy a utilizar siete limpiapipas color amarillo, seis color verde y uno color marrón.

The first step I'm going to take is to select the yellow pipe cleaner. This shade is a little darker and is perfect for this type of flower, so for each sunflower I'm going to use seven yellow pipe cleaners, six green ones, and one brown one.

Bien ahora voy a tomar los siete limpiapipas amarillos y cortamos en la mitad, en total obtendremos catorce piezas iguales, ahora voy a tomar una pieza doblamos en la mitad y desde el inicio voy a doblar la punta hacia al centro, el mismo paso para la otra punta, así realicé el primer pétalo.

Okay, now I'm going to take the seven yellow pipe cleaners and cut them in half. In total, we'll get fourteen equal pieces. Now I'm going to take one piece, fold it in half, and from the beginning, fold the tip towards the center. The same step for the other tip. That's how I made the first petal.

El paso anterior lo aplique para todas las piezas de color amarillo, ahora voy a tomar un limpiapipas de color marrón y lo voy a enrollar en forma de círculo, ahora pegamos con silicón siete pétalos, luego el resto van detrás como una segunda capa. Asegúrate de que queden bien adheridos y sin dejar restos de silicón.

I followed the previous step for all the yellow pieces. Now I'm going to take a brown pipe cleaner and roll it into a circle. Next, I'll glue seven petals on with silicone, then the rest will go behind it as a second layer. Make sure they are well adhered and that there are no excess silicone residue.

Luego voy a realizar la hoja que cubre la parte trasera del girasol, tomaré un limpiapipas verde lo doble en la mitad y con una medida de unos tres a cuatro centímetros voy a realizar unos dos giros, hasta completar tres partes, luego tomé otro limpiapipas realicé el mismo paso y unimos ambas partes con silicón.

Next, I'm going to make the leaf that covers the back of the sunflower. I'll take a green pipe cleaner, fold it in half, and with a measurement of about three to four centimeters, I'll make about two twists, until I complete three parts. Then I'll take another pipe cleaner, do the same step, and join both parts with silicone.

Ahora pegamos en la parte posterior del girasol, muy importante que nos sobre una parte de limpiapipas para formar el tallo, pero antes realicé las hojas uniendo dos limpiapipas en la mitad,estás hojas quedan largas, ahora corte un palillo de madera con una medida de 20 cm.

Now we glue on the back of the sunflower, it is very important that we have some pipe cleaner left over to form the stem, but before I made the leaves by joining two pipe cleaners in the middle, these leaves are long, now I cut a wooden stick with a measurement of 20 cm.

Voy a unir el palillo junto al limpiapipas sobrante de la hoja, pero lo voy a pegar más o menos en la mitad, esto para poder mover el girasol hacia arriba y abajo, puedes reforzar esa parte con un retazo de limpiapipas, ahora con la cinta floral verde voy a comenzar a cubrir desde donde comienza el tallo, puedes aplicar un poco de silicón, continua cubriendo todo el palillo hasta llegar a la mitad donde colocamos las hojas.

I'm going to attach the stick to the leftover pipe cleaner from the leaf, but I'm going to glue it more or less in the middle. This is so I can move the sunflower up and down. You can reinforce that part with a scrap of pipe cleaner. Now, with the green floral tape, I'm going to start covering from where the stem begins. You can apply a little silicone. Continue covering the entire stick until you reach the middle where we placed the leaves.

Puedes cubrir con dos capas de cinta floral para mayor seguridad, por último voy a dar forma a los pétalos de adentro hacia afuera, la tarjeta es en cartulina opalina la realicé en Canva es súper facil ya que dividiendo la página en dos partes puedes obtener dos tarjetas para la medida de este girasol, allí personalizas a tu gusto, colocando la frase o dibujo de tu preferencia.

You can cover it with two layers of floral tape for added security. Finally, I'm going to shape the petals from the inside out. The card is made of opal cardstock; I created it in Canva. It's super easy because by dividing the page in two parts you can get two cards the size of this sunflower. There you can personalize it to your liking, adding the phrase or drawing of your choice.

Colocamos la flor en la tarjeta y realizamos un lazo con cinta, colocamos dentro de sus bolsitas listas para ser entregadas, y así culminé con estos girasoles ¿Qué tal les pareció? muchas gracias por el apoyo y por visitar mi publicación, nos vemos en una próxima oportunidad con más ideas creativas.
