El ser humano ante las diferentes actividades que ejecuta en su entorno ha tenido que utilizar herramientas que le sirven para diversas funciones. Es la máscara, un instrumento que puede ayudar a ejercer trabajos sin complicaciones, evitando lesiones.

Si el individuo no previene estas situaciones, se puede lamentar después. Es bueno actuar a tiempo para que no esté comprometida la salud por decirlo de alguna manera. Otra máscara que el individuo usa es la máscara social, esa es intangible, se adapta de acuerdo al ambiente y situación en que te encuentres, fácil de colocar, te la quitas y te la pones. Ese tipo de persona usa doble careta para poder aparentar lo que no son, les queda muy bien un refrán popular que se dice mucho en mi país: “dime que presumes y te diré que careces”, no se quién es el autor.

Ejemplo de ello es un joven que vive en una comunidad humilde y antes sus amigos dice que sus padres tienen dinero y no es así o dicen que son amigos tuyos y te volteas y hablaban mal de ti. También pasa que se coloca máscara para que las demás personas vean lo alegre y fuerte que estamos, aunque por dentro se esté destrozado.

Sin duda, las máscaras han estado presentes en la vida del ser humano y han variado de acuerdo con las etapas que se viven. Esa máscara social puede ayudar para pertenecer a un determinado grupo por cómo te das a conocer delante de ellos.
