Feliz día amigos espero pasen un reconfortante domingo. Continuo compartiendo un poco de mi estadía en Caripe el Guácharo durante la Semana Mayor. Estas fotos que les comparto corresponden al Viernes Santo donde acostumbro ir a visitar las iglesias del municipio y aunque esta vez no pudimos visitarlos todos la experiencia en Caripe siempre es la mejor para mi.

Happy day friends, I hope you have a comforting Sunday. I continue sharing a little of my stay in Caripe el Guácharo during the Semana Mayor. These photos that I share with you correspond to Good Friday where I usually go to visit the churches of the municipality and although this time we could not visit them all the experience in Caripe is always the best for me.

Nos fuimos muy temprano a eso de las 8 am y bajamos al Centro de Caripe ya que mi casita donde llegó de vacaciones queda en la parte alta un pueblito precioso llamado Sabana de Piedras, llegamos a la Iglesia Santo Ángel Custodio en Caripe, una templo muy lindo con una construcción diferente pero encantadora disfrutamos la vista el momento y seguimos.

We left very early at about 8 am and went down to the centre of Caripe as my little house where I came on holiday is in the upper part of a beautiful village called Sabana de Piedras, we arrived at the Santo Angel Custodio Church in Caripe, a very nice temple with a different but charming construction, we enjoyed the view and then we went on.

Tocó ir a una capilla muy pequeñita que queda subiendo por el mercado municipal de Caripe en la zona Vista Larga y aunque no sé porque razón estaba cerrada no pude dejar de admirar unas lindas flores que adornan su entrada.

It was time to go to a very small chapel that is on the way up to the municipal market of Caripe in the area of Vista Larga and although I don't know why it was closed, I could not help admiring the beautiful flowers that adorn its entrance.

Seguimos a la comunidad de Teresén un pueblo muy conocido en Caripe por sus buenas fiestas y su gente amable como toda la de Caripe, allí la iglesia nos queda imponente en la altura con una construcción característica de las de las casas del pueblo, nos da una vista muy linda.

We continue to the community of Teresén, a village well known in Caripe for its good fiestas and its friendly people, like all the people of Caripe, where the church stands imposing on the heights with a construction characteristic of the houses of the village, giving us a very nice view.

Y allí paramos para surtirnos de un poco de gasolina, ya que la gasolinera estaba abierta y es algo que en Caripe no es muy regular y había que aprovechar., eso llevo mas del tiempo y pues ya cuando seguimos era tarde y las demás iglesias ya estaban cerradas. Asi que para la tarde decidimos retomar por lo menos para las fotos del recuerdo y seguimos con la Iglesia de la comunidad de El Guácharo donde nos encontramos con ensayos del coro para la misa.

We stopped there to get some petrol, as the petrol station was open and it is something that is not very regular in Caripe and we had to take advantage of it, that took more time and when we continued it was already late and the other churches were already closed. So in the afternoon we decided to go back to the church of the community of El Guácharo where we met the choir rehearsing for the mass.

Seguimos con la muy popular Iglesia de San Agustín por su característica hiedra que la cubre totalmente y es muy preciosa. Es pequeña pero acogedora y el sitio ideal para unas fotos preciosas y su ornamenta muy linda.

We continued to the very popular church of San Agustín because of its characteristic ivy that covers it completely and it is very beautiful. It is small but cosy and the ideal place for some beautiful photos and its ornamentation is very pretty.

Y aunque el propósito inicial no se pudo lograr que era la visita a los siete templos en viernes santo, igual el momento se disfruta y no nos regodeamos en la queja, simplemente agradecemos y admiramos las maravillas que al paso Dios nos regala. Una linda flor, un paisaje hermoso, el canto de los pájaros y el placer de estar vivos para disfrutarlo. Saludos amigos, nos leemos pronto.

And although the initial purpose could not be achieved which was to visit the seven temples on Good Friday, the moment is still enjoyable and we do not wallow in complaint, we simply give thanks and admire the wonders that God gives us along the way. A beautiful flower, a beautiful landscape, the singing of birds and the pleasure of being alive to enjoy it. Greetings friends, see you soon.
