"WOMEN PHOTOS..." My #137 entry to the #Monomad challenge.
Éstas no son el tipo de fotografías que acostumbro a publicar en blanco y negro, sin embargo... Al empezar a editarlas, en modo automático entré a los filtros B/N y al seleccionar uno de ellos me di cuenta de lo hermosas que se veían... ¡Si! quizá no es lo habitual en mi, pero de vez en cuando no esta mal salirnos de lo predeterminado... :)
Luego entré en una crisis existencial referente a que hacer con ellas, las amaba a color, sin embargo a blanco y negro tenían un encanto peculiar... Una esencia diferente a la que el color se robaría... A color se verían de Pinterest, pero el B/N le aportaría elegancia y hasta un toque artístico.
Así que, ¡La decisión fue tomada!
Les contaré un poco de estas fotos, tenía una sesión fotográfica pautada, la cliente quería un espacio abierto, así que escogimos un parque. Llegamos muy temprano por la mañana, eran cerca de las 7am. Por lo que el sol era el ideal... Cómo llegamos antes que ellos, decidimos sacar unas fotitos rápidas antes de empezar a trabajar, para ir vale los motores 😁.
Cada vez que visito este lugar, me enamoro del viejo container abandonado. Así que este fue el espacio que escogí para comenzar a posar.
Entre tantas cosas, quiero decirles que me siento feliz de ver la evolución de mi esposo en la fotografía. Siento que cada día mejora más su ojo y sus habilidades en este arte. Y no me pesa decir que lo está haciendo hasta mejor que yo 🫶🏻📸.

These are not the kind of pictures I usually post in black and white, however.... When I started to edit them, in automatic mode I switched to the B/W filters and when I selected one of them I realized how beautiful they looked... Yes! maybe it's not the usual for me, but once in a while it's not bad to get out of the default.... :)
Then I went into an existential crisis about what to do with them, I loved them in color, but in black and white they had a peculiar charm.... A different essence that color would steal.... In color they would look like Pinterest, but B&W would add elegance and even an artistic touch.
So, the decision was made!
I'll tell you a bit about these photos, I had a photo shoot scheduled, the client wanted an open space, so we chose a park. We arrived very early in the morning, it was around 7am. So the sun was ideal.... As we arrived before them, we decided to take a few quick pictures before we started working, to go vale the engines 😁.
Every time I visit this place, I fall in love with the old abandoned container. So this was the space I chose to start posing.
Among so many things, I want to tell you that I am happy to see my husband's evolution in photography. I feel that every day he improves his eye and his skills in this art. And I don't regret to say that he is doing even better than me 🫶🏻📸.

I love love love black and white photos that are high contrast and are really well done. The increased contrast can pick out details that you'd never notice in colour... like the texture of the ground in your 9th photo. I think the 9th photo is my favourite, you look super cool but also the contrast between your pants and the shadow of your legs is so good as well.
Your husband has such a natural eye for composition. I think a big part of being a photographer is being comfortable with your subject... and making your subject feel comfortable enough with you to do poses that might feel silly out of context. To me it's no surprise that you both work so well together.
My dear friend @aussieninja ! Thank you very much for your kind comment... No doubt I agree with you, there are so many details that enhance a Monochrome capture to a color one. That's why I was fascinated when I put them through the filter.
And about my husband, yes! It comes very naturally to him.... I really love teaming up with him ♥️ we both feel like fish in water!
