"HAPPY FACES"... My #140 entry to the #Monomad challenge.
Poco antes de mi operación tuve el privilegio de fotografíar a unos amigos a quien quiero mucho.
Avelina, Carmen, Enrique, Jacinto y Jesús pasan de 60 años... Y si algo les admiro es su Optimismo ante la vida y sus circunstancias.
Siempre contagian a quienes tienen a su alrededor con su alegría y su ejemplo de constancia y Amor... Su vida no han sido fácil, pues algunos de ellos han perdido familiares muy muy cercanos, se han visto al borde de la muerte, han pasado necesidad, lidian con enfermedades que les restan la fuerza a diario... Sin embargo siempre tienen su confianza puesta en su Creador y ven el lado positivo a todo aquello que no parece tenerlo.
Así que me propuse capturarlos a cada uno cuando tuviera la oportunidad de encontrarlos, pues quería retratar aquellas hermosas sonrisas y ojos relucientes... Que aunque han pasado por momentos duros no dejan de tener ese brillo encantador.
Al principio se sintieron un poco apenados, pero les dije la frase que muestra más sonrisas que un chiste: "Quiero Ver Muchos Dientes" 😁 e instantáneamente sus sonrisas salieron.
Siempre tenemos algo bonito que aprender de los demás... Y tener amigos que te doblen la edad es una bendición. Cuanta sabiduría en cada uno de sus consejos.

Shortly before my operation I had the privilege of photographing some friends whom I love very much.
Avelina, Carmen, Enrique, Jacinto and Jesús are over 60 years old.... And if there is one thing I admire in them, it is their optimism in the face of life and its circumstances.
They always infect those around them with their joy and their example of perseverance and love.... Their lives have not been easy, as some of them have lost very close relatives, have been on the verge of death, have been in need, deal with illnesses that take away their strength on a daily basis? However, they always have their trust in their Creator and see the positive side of everything that does not seem to have it.
So I set out to capture each one of them when I had the chance to meet them, as I wanted to portray those beautiful smiles and sparkling eyes.... That even though they have been through hard times they still have that lovely glow.
At first they felt a little embarrassed, but I told them the phrase that shows more smiles than a joke: "I Want to See Lots of Teeth " 😁 and instantly their smiles came out.
We always have something nice to learn from each other.... And having friends twice your age is a blessing. So much wisdom in each of their advice.
