De Vestido... A Falda Maxi /💜 / From Dress... A Maxi Skirt
Hoy celebramos una ocasión muy especial... Pero mi presupuesto estaba algo cortísimo para comprar un outfit nuevo, así que saqué de mi baúl cosas que jamás me había puesto y conseguí buenas cosas para modificar.
Hace un tiempo una amiga me regaló un vestido de fiesta, pero aunque el modelo era precioso, era muy revelador para mí gusto en la parte superior y aunque me gusta inventar a la hora de vestirme, me gusta que lo que vaya a usar sea recatado.
Así que... La única manera de usarlo era modificándolo y en efecto fue lo que hice.
Le corté la parte superior que era un corte en V bastante pronunciado y lo dejé como una falda maxi. Le coloqué liga en la parte trasera y walaaaa, lo convertí en algo que sé, usaré más seguido.
El evento era formal, así que decidí usar un chaleco de mangas bombache de lentejuelas negras, y me habría ENCANTADO tener unas sandalias más modernas y exóticas, peroooo, estoy más limpia que alma de un bebé 😁 (económicamente hablando). Así que seguí usando mis zapaticos que... No iban tan bien con el look pero, es que lo que tengo y punto! 🫤
El look no estaba mal, pero no sé, sentí que le faltó algo... Probablemente más accesorios, pero tengo un detalle, y es que todo lo compro dorado y plateado tengo muy poco. Asi que sentí que era muy simple, pero nuevamente repito: era lo que tenía y así lo usamos!
Lo maravilloso de todo, además de la celebración que fue hermosa, es que logré armar una falda a partir de un vestido y tengo una nueva prenda para crear muchos estilos más!
Moraleja de esto: Siempre habrá algo en ese escaparate que se pueda modificar 😌 (no voten nada) 😜
Today we are celebrating a very special occasion.... But my budget was a bit too tight to buy a new outfit, so I took out of my trunk things I had never worn before and got some good things to modify.
Some time ago a friend gave me a party dress, but although the model was beautiful, it was too revealing for my taste at the top and although I like to invent when it comes to dressing, I like that what I'm going to wear is demure.
So... The only way to wear it was to modify it and in effect that's what I did.
I cut off the top which was a pretty pronounced V cut and left it as a maxi skirt. I put a garter in the back and walaaaa, I turned it into something I know I will wear more often.
The event was formal, so I decided to wear a black sequined bombache sleeve vest, and I would have LOVED to have some more trendy and exotic sandals, but wooooo, I'm cleaner than a baby's soul 😁 (financially speaking). So I kept on wearing my sneakers which.... They didn't go so well with the look but, it's just what I have, period! 🫤
The look wasn't bad, but I don't know, I felt like it was missing something.... Probably more accessories, but I have a detail, and that is that everything I buy gold and silver I have very little. So I felt it was too simple, but again I repeat: it was what I had and so we wore it!
The wonderful thing about it all, besides the celebration which was beautiful, is that I managed to put together a skirt from a dress and I have a new garment to create many more styles!
Moral of this: there will always be something in that window display that can be modified 😌 (don't vote for anything) 😜.
